This time, I decided to give in to V, so I sat in the passenger seat next to the driver.
Meanwhile, my girlfriend hadn't even gotten into the car before she got the call, so she went off to talk, but the conversation was rather short.
Getting back in the car, I finally asked V.
"Who called you?" I asked.
She sighed.
"That Japanese guy... He wanted us to meet his friend, who's also in town," she said.

V just smirked.

"YOU! How can you say such embarrassing words?!" I exclaimed, turning away.

Anyway, to her laughter, she started the car, and we headed to the megatower where the "Clouds" are located.
After a while, we found ourselves at the elevator, on the top floors of the megatower.
"Did you see those two? It's clear the Tiger Claws are involved, and your friend didn't mention it," Johnny said, appearing inside the elevator as we were ascending.
"Maybe she doesn't even know," I said.
He just grinned, taking off his glasses.
"Little Fox, it's obvious you're new to this city, and too pure. All I can do is pity you and tell you. Don't let this city swallow you up, and if it does, rip its guts out," Johnny said.
"Like you? By detonating a nuclear bomb?" I asked.
"It was an act of insubordination," he said.
"Okay, talk later, we're already there," V said, exiting the elevator.
Walking down the hallway, we came to the reception desk, where a woman was standing.
"Good afternoon! Would you like some privacy with the doll?" she asked.
"Yes," said V, and I couldn't help but look at her with satisfaction.
"Very well, join the sport," the woman said, which V did.
"How interesting... You have two dolls to choose from. Which one would you choose, Skye or Angel?" the woman asked.
"Skye," V replied.
And of course, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Skye was a woman, so she chose her without hesitation.
At the time, Angel was a man, so she wasn't interested in him.
"Also, can I bring my wife with me? I'll pay for her," V asked.
Is she seriously insisting on me being her wife?
"That's..." she didn't finish, as V smiled and transferred the money.
"Of course, the customer is always right. Just leave your weapons in the box by the entrance; we're strict about that here."
We nodded and headed to the entrance where we deposited our weapons.
"You're not going to see that Skye," I said.
"Is my wife really jealous?" V asked.
I just turned away, hugging my ponytails.
"Yes..." I answered quietly.
"Okay, okay, I won't go to another girl, are you happy?" she asked, to which I nodded.
"But then, how will we even find out any information about Evelyn?" I asked.
"Well, of course we'll ask the boss," V said, then I saw her eyes light up.
"I finally found him!" It is located on the floor above. "Tama, can you distract that guy?" V asked, pointing to the guy standing by the door.
"Okay, but just not for long," I said.
"And we'll talk at home, Valerie," I said, calling her by her full name, causing her to involuntarily flinch.
"Tama..."
"Not now," I said.
I don't know why she didn't tell me this sooner. It doesn't matter, but I still felt a little hurt that she didn't tell me her real name. But I wouldn't hold it against her; I'm not some petty bitch!
In the end, I distracted the guard while V snuck past.
After that, I moved closer to the exit, so if anything happened, we could get out of there quickly.
So, I waited thirty minutes and then saw V, who came from the other side.
"Well?" "What, did you find out about Evelyn?" I asked.
"Let's not do this here, let's get out of here quickly," she said, grabbing my hand, which surprised me.
Having collected our weapons, we walked to the elevator and pressed the down button.
"Why the rush?" I asked.

"I hope you at least found out about Evelyn?"
She nodded.

"Fingers Clinic..." V said.
"I don't like that name anymore... Anyway, call Judy and let her know," I said, to which V nodded.
The conversation didn't last long.
"She'll be waiting for us there," V said.
"And where is that clinic?" I asked.
"Chpok Street," V replied.
"What's wrong with the street names in this city?" I asked wearily.
