When King Edward heard the rumors about him attacking Anastasia, he was furious. He had not even known about her pregnancy. Even if he were a fool, if he had found out about Ernest's identity, he would have killed him.
He only suppressed Ernest because he hated the fact that he dared to marry Anastasia.
"Kill anyone spreading such lies," he instructed.
"Your Majesty, this is not a good approach," Walter said. Hearing the order, he could not help but protest.
"Are you questioning my order?" King Edward's frown deepened.
"I would not dare, Your Majesty," Walter said. He immediately stepped out to carry out the order.
"Your Majesty, the head of interrogation is here. He claims to have something to report," the eunuch announced.
"Send him in," Edward said. He hoped he was getting good news this time.
"Your Majesty," the man stepped in and bowed.
"Speak," Edward said, feeling quite impatient.
