Few months passed and Yn's baby bump grew bigger. Taehyung would always call her and make sure she's okay even when he's busy or in a meeting.. always asking her if she ate, about her business and their baby. They couldn't be more than happy after all they were about to be a family of three now.
But one thing is that Yn's pregnancy is very complicated... the doctor already told them that she might face bear some difficulties in delivery but nevertheless Yn wasn't afraid. She was just eager to see their baby soon.
And just like that the day of delivery arrived...
She was doing her work in her bakery shop, her shop was profiting a lot and running very smoothly... Whoever visited once became her regular customers after all she was amazing at it. Taehyung suggested not to work during her last month but she's obviously more stubborn and didn't listen. But he consistently visited her by lunch as the company wasn't that much far.
It was a fine regular day... And Taehyung came again to pick her up for lunch. Upon entering the shop he saw Yn sitting at a chair looking exhausted. He immediately ran towards her and as usual asked about how she was doing kneeling infront of her even checking her temperature as she was looking paler than usual. Yn smiles and reassures him she's fine and just tired a little because today was hectic. Taehyung almost scolded her for not resting properly.
"Let's go have lunch, you look so fragile you need to take the meds" he said to which she smiles and nodded saying "okay okay let's go..."
Then they arrived at their usual spot where they had their lunch. Yn wasn't having any appetite and he could see it clearly. Just when he was about to order something light Yn started groaning in pain.
"Yn-" he rushed towards her and touched her belly "Does it hurt??" She nodded in pain "The baby-..". He understood and takes her in his arms and immediately rushed towards the hospital.

The operation theatre's red light was on and Taehyung panicked outside continuously pacing around by the door. He was alone right now as their family was on their way.
Just then a nurse came and called out his name in emergency and his heart clenched...he immediately went inside and the seen frightened him. Yn was almost unconscious while the doctor and nurses making sure she doesn't faint or else it would be worse. "Yn- doctor- what's happening-?" He panicked seeing her state and the doctor stated in a hurry "Mr.Kim as her condition is going a bit critical you might have to take a decision if she faints right now...please choose one your wife or the baby.."
His world collapsed hearing those words.. tears forming in his eyes "my wife" he said without an ounce of hesitation. Though Yn was half concious but tears slides down her eyes hearing them from her subconscious mind wanting all this to be just a nightmare.
"Mr.Kim we will try our best and save both but you might see how the situation is right now thanks for your cooperation..." Taehyung was just numb.. the nurse guided him out and closed the door again. He stood there blankly just praying for Yn to be safe... He ofc cares for the baby too but his wife life is more precious now even if he knows that she'd not like his decision also...
....
After few minutes their family also arrived...when taehyung dropped the heartbreaking news they all shattered. "Oh my child... Why God has to be so cruel to my baby..." Her mother cried in despair as Yuki consoled her... Yuki already had her newborn baby 2 months ago.. Yn and her would always talk about their babies and go shopping for them, visit the hospital for check ups together.. all of those moments looked fading away for Yuki... Right now she just saw her little sister inside the operation theatre...
And maybe all of their prayers didn't go in vain as the light went green and as soon as the doctor came outside... They saw the baby in his arms crying more than ever.
All of them cried happy tears and Taehyung the most.. but the first question was "how's my wife??" The doctor smiles "she's fine now and our of danger.. she's a very strong lady i must say... We almost gave up thinking we have to abort the baby but she didn't give up" Taehyung released a heavy breath as if someone took away the heavy burden from his shoulder.
"Congrats Mr.Kim it's a baby girl" and handed it to taehyung. He hesitated and held her carefully and her crying faded away slowly... They went inside for Yn and saw her exhausted but happily smiling through tiredly. "Our baby" she said as a whisper and Taehyung kissed her forehead and placed the baby beside her. "I love you so much... You're so brave" he said patting her hair slowly and his other hand holding her hand.
The family watched them in awe and interrupted their cute moment "ok love birds stay in place and look here" both of them looked at the camera and FLASH!

The house had changed in the softest way.
It wasn't louder though tiny cries and sleepy giggles now filled the home warmer. Like every corner held something alive, something theirs.
Taehyung stood by the window, gently rocking the baby in his arms, his usual sharp edges softened into something unrecognizable. Something calm.
She watched them, the way his fingers carefully supported their child, the way his expression carried a quiet kind of awe. Oh how far they have come... Though the pain that she can no longer can get pregnant hurted her but this family of three was enough for her little happy world.
"Come here," she whispered.
He did, sitting beside her, placing the baby gently between them. For a moment, neither spoke. They just looked.
"This is everything. You are everything." he said as her eyes softened, a little glassy.
"Feels kinda perfect, doesn't it?"
She let out a quiet laugh, leaning her head against his shoulder. "More than perfect."
And in that quiet little room, with their child between them and a future no longer uncertain, they didn't need anything more.
Not another chance just this, just them.
And that was enough.
