Chapter 415 - Chapter 415: The Path of the Ninja (Part 1)

Back on earth, after his journey to the moon, Naruto gazed up at the night sky. The moon looked different now—changed, somehow, by everything he'd learned.

"Tsukimi Nation, huh…"

At last, he knew this land's true name.

Sure, it was the Ōtsutsuki who named it—but even Naruto had to admit, there was something romantic about it.

Konan approached, her eyes sharp but warm. "What happened to your head? You look like you lost a fight with a frying pan."

Naruto rubbed the bumps, grinning sheepishly. "Don't ask. Let's just say I got a little 'loving discipline.'"

Konan smiled knowingly. "Ah, Kushina-san, right?" Then her tone shifted, all business. "Amado wants to see you."

Naruto's senses went on alert. "Just him?"

Konan shook her head. "He's bringing Ada and Daemon."

Naruto's brow furrowed instantly.

Konan reassured him, "Relax. You explained their powers at the last meeting. I made it clear—no one gets close without permission."

Naruto couldn't help but feel grateful. Konan was always so reliable.

He glanced in the mirror, eyeing the horns that had grown since becoming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki.

"Strictly speaking, I'm starting to look a lot like an Ōtsutsuki. Ada's 'Enchantment' and Daemon's Reflection probably won't work on me. Still… better safe than sorry."

He called for Obito.

Obito, hearing Naruto's plan, smirked. "So you want me as backup—with Kamui, just in case?"

Naruto nodded. "Exactly. Your Kamui can ignore even Infinite Tsukuyomi. If Ada tries her power, you'll be immune. That's more than enough."

Obito asked, "What do you want me to do?"

Naruto was blunt. "If I start acting off—if you see any sign I've lost myself—take Ada out. Use Kamui. No hesitation."

Obito considered. "How will I know?"

Naruto replied, "I won't give Ada a single friendly look. If I do, it means she's gotten to me. That's your cue."

Obito nodded. "Got it."

With Obito at his side, Naruto headed to the secret meeting room in Amegakure.

Amado was already waiting. "First off, congratulations, Uzumaki Naruto. You took down Isshiki. The biggest threat is gone."

Naruto sat, fingers tapping the table. "I wouldn't call him the biggest threat. More like an eyesore. Glad he's out of the way."

Click.

Amado lit a cigarette, about to take a drag.

Naruto's eyes narrowed. "Put that out."

Amado paused. "What?"

Naruto repeated, firmer. "Put out the cigarette. My wife's pregnant. I'm not coming home smelling like smoke."

Amado chuckled, snuffing out the cigarette. "You really are a considerate husband…"

From the sofa, Ada—legs crossed, attitude sharp—shot Naruto a glare. "What's with the attitude? You were the one who forced Amado to defect, weren't you?"

Obito's eyes narrowed, quietly moving to full alert.

Naruto's voice was ice. "Did anyone ask for your opinion?"

Ada bristled. "You…"

Daemon, on the other end of the sofa, glared at Naruto. "How dare you talk to my sister like that, you loser!"

Naruto smirked. "Watch your mouth, brat. You're just a kid."

Daemon's temper flared. "If you've got guts, kill me!!"

Naruto just laughed. "Ever seen a grown-up stoop to a kid's level?"

Daemon roared, "You're just scared! Coward!"

Naruto saw right through him. Daemon's power only worked if the opponent actually wanted to kill him. Naruto wasn't playing that game.

Instead, he turned to Amado, gaze razor-sharp. "Amado, they're your subordinates. Their behavior—your responsibility, right?"

Amado nodded. "We're not fully on the same page yet. I'm just protecting myself. You asked for an 'answer sheet'—I'm submitting it now."

Naruto shook his head. "I'm not satisfied with your answers."

Amado said nothing.

Naruto cut straight to the point. "Let's be real, Amado. You just threatened Isshiki to save your own skin. If you'd given me his dimension coordinates from the start, he never would've invaded Konoha and marked Neji with 'Karma.'"

Amado replied, "I've made my stance clear. I cut ties with Isshiki. I didn't expect him to go after Hyūga Neji. I thought he was cornered—at worst, a kamikaze move. I admit, I miscalculated…"

Naruto let up a little. "Look, your answers weren't perfect, but they passed. So, I'm willing to work with you. My village will protect you—but you have to meet my conditions."

Amado nodded. "Name them."

Naruto raised a finger. "First: you have to crack 'Karma.' Invent a purification technique like you did before."

Ryūshiki once said the highest form of Karma wasn't reincarnation, but coexistence.

In his previous life, Boruto and Momoshiki nearly reached that level—though it was far from perfect.

But Neji's Karma was Isshiki's, and Isshiki was beyond redemption.

So Naruto's plan was simple: purify the Karma, make it just a source of power for Neji. No coexistence, no risk.

Amado looked stunned. "Did I really pull that off in the future?"

Naruto shrugged. "You don't remember it, but you did."

Amado nodded. "Alright… give me enough funding, and I'll get to work. Is that all?"

Naruto turned to Ada and Daemon. "Second: keep your subordinates in line. If their powers mess with anyone close to me, I won't hold back."

Amado said, "Ada's manageable. Daemon's ability is passive—if anyone feels malice toward him, it triggers…"

Naruto cut in. "Then get rid of that power. It doesn't work on Ōtsutsuki anyway, right?"

Amado hesitated. "Your demands are pretty intense. If I strip his ability, my own safety…"

Naruto snorted. "You weren't any safer in Kara. Isshiki was a silent threat. At least I'm upfront—villain first, gentleman later. Given your answers, this is as much as I'll bend."

Amado relented. "Fine. I'll agree. But…"

Naruto grinned. "Relax. I'm not the kind of guy who'd use your daughter's safety as leverage."

With that, Naruto stuck a finger down his throat.

"Ughhh—!"

A moment later, the Scientific Ninja Tool drone was coughed up onto the table, slick with saliva.

Amado didn't miss a beat. "Daemon, sleep mode—now!"

The shutdown command for the cyborg.

Thud! Daemon dropped, instantly unconscious.

Ada's eyes widened in shock. She bit her thumb, ready to activate her power and control Obito and Naruto—but nothing happened. Her ability was useless against both.

Naruto glanced at Ada, voice low. "Ada… your ability isn't passive, is it? Control yourself. That's my advice."

He looked at Daemon, then at Amado and Ada. "Once Daemon's power is gone, if anyone in Amegakure bullies him, I'll step in."

Thud.

For all his dominance, Naruto's words carried a thread of kindness—like an arrow straight to Ada's heart.

Ada's cheeks flushed. What do I do? He's so cool! I think… he's stolen my heart…

Naruto stood. "That's settled, Amado. Take a few days to get used to the place. Then we'll start our partnership."

Amado, inwardly, couldn't help but marvel: Uzumaki Naruto… really doesn't tolerate even a speck of sand in his eyes.

Outside the meeting room—

Obito smirked. "Looks like Ada's Enchantment doesn't work on you."

Naruto's smile faded, a little melancholy. "Just means I'm turning into an Ōtsutsuki. Not exactly something to celebrate…"

Learning from the mistakes of the old Root, Naruto took Amado's list of Kara's remaining 'Outer' members and sent out squads to wipe them out—no more loose ends.

In his previous life, after the ninja world found peace, Amegakure had become a breeding ground for Kara's darkness.

Now, Naruto had finally made up for his past regrets—bringing true peace and prosperity to Amegakure.

At the same time, the ninja world was approaching a pivotal crossroads.

After the Five Kage Summit, the Kage visited Amegakure and reached consensus. Except for the Raikage, who went off to Hell Valley for training, the other Kage returned to their villages and immediately petitioned their respective daimyō for reform.

This was a monumental move—the daimyō of the Five Great Nations joined forces to launch… the Five Daimyō Summit!
