After all, once Rayquaza joined the fight against it, there was no way it could possibly win.
At this point, the First-class Legendaries still fighting on Hoopa's side were Ho-Oh at the peak of the First-class Legendary tier, Yveltal, also at the peak, and Zygarde at the late-stage.
As for Julian's side, not a single First-class Legendary had been defeated yet, and all of them were still in fairly good condition.
Ho-Oh's opponent was Zekrom, while Yveltal's opponent was Xerneas.
But since Yveltal was at the peak of the First-class Legendary tier while Xerneas was only at the late-stage, there was naturally a gap in strength between the two.
Moreover, their respective powers naturally countered one another.
By now, Xerneas had already been completely suppressed by Yveltal, and its defeat was only a matter of time.
Their battlefield had been within the forests of East Africa. However, the entire region had long since become completely unrecognizable from the shockwaves of their battle.

A cold glint flashed through Yveltal's eyes as it poured even more death energy into Xerneas.
A First-class Legendary couldn't be truly killed.
Not even a Forbidden-class being could kill even an early-stage First-class Legendary.
That was because First-class Legendaries were beings favored by the world—they were the children of the world itself.
How could the world possibly allow its own children to slaughter one another?
At most, they could be reduced to their Origin State and then sealed away. And after several thousand or even tens of thousands of years, they would eventually revive once more.
Yveltal wanted to kill Xerneas, but it simply couldn't. So, sealing it away was the only option.
Unless Xerneas willingly shared its eternal life with a human—in that case, when that human died, Xerneas would die along with them.
As for whether that human would also die if Xerneas died—that question only mattered if Xerneas could actually die.
As mentioned before, a First-class Legendary couldn't truly be killed. At most, it could only be sealed away.
Just as Yveltal was about to completely seal away its arch-nemesis, a Dragon Pulse shot in from the distance and blasted straight into one of its wings, tearing it off.
"Who?!"
The excruciating pain twisted Yveltal's voice as it demanded an answer from the unfamiliar being before it, its expression extremely grave.
Although it had been caught off guard, the fact that the opponent had severely wounded it with a single attack showed just how terrifying its strength was.
Since each pair of First-class Legendaries had been fighting in separate areas, unless one side held an overwhelming advantage over the other, neither had the spare attention to monitor the battles elsewhere.
As a result, neither the First-class Legendaries under Hoopa nor those fighting for Julian knew that White Kyurem had appeared.
Hoopa, however, did know—its strength was high enough for it to perceive the situation.
And the people watching the live broadcast via satellites knew as well.
Because the battle had been divided into several different zones, the live broadcast naturally had multiple camera feeds.
Even so, most viewers remained focused on the battle between Hoopa, Mega Rayquaza, and Mega Mewtwo X.
With White Kyurem joining the fight, no matter how unwilling Yveltal was, it was ultimately beaten into submission.
Moreover, the small portion of Origin Power it had painstakingly recovered was stripped away once again.
Afterward, White Kyurem flew off to assist Regigigas in defeating Zygarde.
Meanwhile, Zekrom managed to defeat Ho-Oh on its own.
Only forty-something minutes had passed since the battle began, and Julian's side, relying on the overwhelming combat power of White Kyurem, had beaten down all the First-class Legendaries that Hoopa commanded.
Now, only Hoopa itself remained.
The people of the world were ecstatic as they watched the scene unfold.

Thinking of this, Solgaleo asked expectantly, "Can Lunala and I fuse as well?"
Hearing that, Julian looked at Solgaleo with a face full of disgust.
"You bastard, my Nebby is still a child!"
"Cos?"
Nebby, perched atop Solgaleo's head, had been watching the battle with great interest when it suddenly heard Julian call its name and instinctively turned around.
"It's nothing. Just stay away from this guy in the future."
Julian patted Nebby's head.
Ever since awakening, Solgaleo had been traveling all over the world in search of treasures that could restore its strength.

"So just because you're genderless, you think you can do whatever you want? Anyway, my Nebby is absolutely out of the question. If you're looking for someone, go find someone else. I think Zygarde would be a good choice. One of its forms is a dog, and its size is actually pretty compatible with yours."
