Chapter 309 - Chapter 309: Beware of Inazuman Women

The Secret to a Flawless Performance? Costumes! A 4-Hour Audio-Visual Extravaganza

Yesterday, Miss Luna's solo concert at the Opera Epiclese concluded triumphantly. The four-hour performance was flawless from start to finish, delivering an unforgettable visual and auditory feast to all attendees.

Here's an excerpt from our interview with Miss Luna:

Interviewer: "What inspired you to create a four-hour concert?"

Luna: "Naturally, my beloved Lady Furina. Now that she's returned to the stage, I couldn't possibly let her outshine me."

Interviewer: "Rumor has it you're living with Lady Furina. Is that true?"

Luna: "Yes, it is."

Interviewer: "You're actually admitting it!"

Luna: "There's no need to hide anything. I cherish the time I spend with Lady Furina, and she feels the same way. As for the rest... let's keep that private."

Interviewer: "Miss Luna, what do you consider the most crucial element of this performance?"

Luna: "My favorite Chioriya outfit."

Interviewer: "Chioriya Boutique! But recent rumors suggest it's connected to criminals?"

Luna: "Anyone familiar with Chiori's character knows better. Against criminals, she'd draw her dual blades rather than kick them away. Rumors are just rumors."

Luna: "I'd stake my entire career and life on this: Chiori's clothes are for anyone who is beautiful and radiant."

Reports have emerged that many customers who purchased items from Usher Clothing Store have experienced skin rashes, general discomfort, and a deterioration in skin quality.

The Fontaine Fashion Association has issued a statement announcing an investigation into the matter.

"Clothes may not be fashionable, but they must be comfortable to wear!"

-

Inside Chioriya Boutique:

Luna lay sprawled on the sofa, her belly exposed. "Ah, that was so easy! We didn't even need to lift a finger."

Usher had attempted to use public opinion to attack Chiori, but public opinion is a double-edged sword. Once you stir up a storm, it immediately turns around and strikes down the very person who started it.

"Thank you for your hard work," Chiori said, gently stroking Luna's belly.

"It was no trouble at all—it was simple. Besides, the real challenge isn't Usher himself, but Fashion Week itself, right?"

Chiori smiled faintly. "Exactly. Do you realize how much pressure your words have put on me? Orders are flooding in, and members of the Fashion Association are even planning to visit me personally."

They probably want her to join the Association, she thought. But Chiori has no interest in such things; she'd be content with a nominal membership. Meetings? Not her thing. Anyone who wants to can attend.

She'll just keep making clothes as always.

Realizing her dreams is indeed Chiori's goal, but she refuses to compromise herself or endure unnecessary hardship for it.

The only thing she's willing to tolerate is this Fat Cat.

"Isn't that a good thing?"

"I have my own pressures too."

"So?"

Chiori lifted the hem of Luna's dress, lowered her head, and pressed a kiss onto her stomach, leaving a red mark. Luna trembled at the sensation of Chiori's breath.

"So—"

Chiori kneaded Luna's belly. "You need to let me relieve some stress."

"You want to use me as a tool?"

"If it would make you happy, I could."

Luna smiled. "It's hard to say who's using whom as a tool."

Her smile faded slightly.

"Will we have enough time to finish?" Luna asked seriously.

"Probably not."

"Do you want me to help?"

"Yes."

Luna couldn't design, but she could craft.

It's true that you don't have to meet others' expectations—just do your best. But Luna had done so much for her, so Chiori naturally wanted to pour her heart into her work as a response.

Luna was her muse.

"I'll make you even more beautiful," Chiori declared confidently.

"Then I'll look forward to it."

And I want to give you a tremendous surprise too, Luna thought.

She couldn't wait to see Chiori's reaction when she received her "gift."

Chiori kissed her lightly. "Same as always—lend me your beauty."

"Will you give it back?"

"No."

Chiori purred with delight. "Because you're mine."

As expected, it's a one-sided transaction.

"Chiori is mine too, right?"

"Yes."

Chiori gazed into Luna's eyes, her heart racing.

I can't take it anymore—or rather, she never intended to endure in the first place. Once the longing surfaced in her heart, it demanded immediate satisfaction. Otherwise, she feared she might have to forcibly pin Luna to the ground to satisfy herself.

I've endured long enough, she thought.

Long enough for those other women to seize their chance.

"Luna, come here."

Before Luna could respond, Chiori pulled her into the dressing room, drew the curtain shut, and immediately pinned Luna against the wall, pressing her face close.

After a moment, Luna exhaled softly. "What? Couldn't resist any longer?"

"Exactly."

Chiori's cheeks flushed crimson as she whispered into Luna's ear, "You know I'm not one for restraint, and I've endured quite enough already."

"Enough to let you cohabitate with Furina, partner with Navia, show signs of reconciliation with Lynette, and play cat-and-mouse with Chevreuse—when you think about it, you owe me quite a bit."

"Owe? More like ChiChi was too shy to confess her feelings to me."

Luna smiled faintly.

"You're no better than me, so you can't make a move this time."

"I refuse."

The more Chiori tried to take the lead and push Luna down, the more Luna wanted to flip the script and push Chiori down instead.

Luna whispered, "If you want me to do nothing, just say, 'Master, please let me serve you.' Only then will I—"

"Master, please let me serve you."

Chiori immediately repeated the words, her voice utterly devoid of emotion.

Luna's expression was one of genuine shock.

"You actually said it... and with such complete detachment!"

"After all, you only asked me to say the words."

Luna gently stroked Chiori's cheek. "Say it with a little more feeling, please."

"And wear a maid outfit if I do?"

"Exactly."

Chiori smiled faintly. "Dream on."

"Then how about a kiss on the instep of my foot?"

It wasn't impossible, but Chiori had no intention of letting Luna get her way every time.

"No."

With that, Chiori stepped firmly on Luna's foot.

"Hey—!"

Before Luna could finish her indignant protest, Chiori hooked her collar, pulled her close, and silenced her breath with a kiss, simultaneously pressing her knee forward into an offensive stance.

A faint, stinging sensation grazed Luna's lips.

"I'm your model, you know," Luna whispered.

"I know," Chiori replied.

I want to bite through, but I can't leave any marks on Luna's skin. She needs to be in perfect condition for the Fashion Show.

Chiori murmured, "Don't move."

"Say it again."

"What?"

"Say that line again, with feeling... and then I'll let you do whatever you want to me."

Chiori sighed deeply, "Haaah..."

Does she really enjoy this kind of thing so much?

Fine, if she wants me to say it, I'll say it.

"Master, please let me to serve you," Chiori whispered, her lips almost touching Luna's.

No longer completely emotionless, but not exactly brimming with feeling either. After all, she'd much rather have Luna serve her.

"Sixty points," Luna assessed.

"Annoying," Chiori grumbled, cupping Luna's face. "Don't move."

"It's fine to talk."

"Because she'll make up for everything to her, body and soul."

...

"Don't just wipe the floor, remember to clean the mirror too, okay?" Luna said in Chiori's ear.

"Unless your dressing room ceiling is leaking."
