Kailen stepped into the major's office, after entering the simple looking grey building.
It was extremely simple and clean.
The major stood tall, straight back, poised demeanor, and battle hardened eyes.
He scanned Kailen for a moment, and nodded, simply.
Then, he spoke.
"Sit."
Kailen simply nodded, calm, and did as told.
A hologram flickered to life before them.
Some sort of map with various routes.
The image zoomed in, several transport spaceships moved along some sort of fixed path, with smaller ships moving alongside them.
"This is region x69. There's a vimodial contractor supply route here. This route supplies vimodial contractor outposts with resources, poisons, personnel, and captured soldiers they have to feed on. If this route stays active, multiple fronts stay active."
Kailen nodded in understanding, studying the route calmly.
The major continued.
"Your mission is simple, locate the route, confirm the activity, and disrupt it."
The image changed again.
