"Oh my, you must be little Tohka." Just as Tohka returned home, she saw Nia Honjo sitting on the bed. At the moment, she seemed to be in a good mood—but the calmer she was, the more Tohka's heart sank. There was no helping it—this probably meant Nia's brain had already been implanted with a special manifesting device. Otherwise, she definitely wouldn't be this calm right now. To be honest, if she were instead screaming and tearing the place apart, Tohka would have felt more at ease.
"Mm? What's with that look?" Nia also noticed Tohka's odd expression. Then, under Miku's speechless gaze, she crawled over and climbed onto Tohka, smiling sweetly. "I always knew someone would come save me, but I didn't expect it to be you, Tohka. Well? Want me to offer myself to you in gratitude?"
"Hey, hey—what are you doing?" Feeling Nia pressing herself against her, Tohka suddenly remembered: though this woman dressed as a nun, she was actually a perverted, horny otaku. So, she quickly backed away. And what made her nearly spit blood was that Nia was only wearing a thin nightgown—being pressed against like this...
"Get away from me, you pervy woman." Feeling Miku and the Yamai sisters staring at her with odd looks, Tohka decisively retreated. This one—she really couldn't handle her. Miku might act a little seductive sometimes, but at heart she was still a pure maiden. Nia, though...she was a hardcore shut-in pervert, just like Tohka herself...
"Oh my, Miki (Miku), don't look at me like that. I just love 2D beautiful girls, okay?" With that, Nia laughed and got up as if nothing happened, starting to walk out on her own. Miku and the Yamai sisters looked like they wanted to stop her, but after meeting Tohka's eyes, they reluctantly stood down.
"You're just going to let her leave? We went to so much trouble to rescue her." Miku asked doubtfully, looking at Tohka in confusion. They'd risked a lot to save Nia—how could Tohka just let her walk out without a word?
"Forget it. Let her go. Didn't you notice? She's wary of us. And I need to think about the next steps—dealing with her won't be simple." Tohka knew Nia wouldn't be won over so easily. She was already considering how to handle her.
If she remembered right, Nia was a manga artist. Although Tohka hadn't studied drawing in her past life, she could at least draw manga decently. So, she wouldn't need Natsumi, that little Loli, to do the work. Natsumi... thinking of her, Tohka recalled that little girl should be showing up soon too.
The next day, Tohka went to school as usual. But her mind was occupied with manga. She'd thought about challenging Nia to a duel, but she knew her drawing skills could never match a professional mangaka. So, she was considering a shortcut. After all, she had no shame to stand in the street dressed as a bunny girl with Miku to draw attention.
Just then, Shido Itsuka suddenly walked into the classroom. He scanned around and saw Tohka sitting there daydreaming.
"Hehe." He showed a mischievous grin. Under the eyes of the entire class, he walked straight over to Tohka. Then, while she was still unresponsive, he reached out and gave her voluptuous chest a firm squeeze—
"Wah!!" At that moment, everyone in the class—including Tohka herself—was stunned. No one could believe Shido would do that. Although he didn't always show it, he was usually quite afraid of Tohka. Why was he suddenly so bold today?
"Hehe." But 'Shido' didn't care at all. After getting his handful, he turned and bolted.
But Tohka reacted even faster. The class saw a blur of motion as she vanished. A moment later, a crashing noise echoed from the corridor outside. Clearly, the fleeing 'Shido' had been caught. When everyone snapped out of their daze and ran out to look, they found that both Tohka and 'Shido' were gone.
Meanwhile, up on the rooftop, Tohka had brought the 'Shido' bound in her spirit power. She tossed him down at her feet.
"You're Natsumi, aren't you? Why are you using his face?" She stared coldly at the 'Shido' on the ground. She knew this wasn't the real Shido. He would never dare pull a stunt like that. As for identifying by smell—well, she'd never been that close to him. No way she could tell. Though her nose wasn't bad, it wasn't that good.
"Oh my, how did you know?" Sure enough, when she spoke, 'Shido's' voice suddenly became a woman's. In the next moment, the illusion vanished, replaced by a tall, green-haired onee-san. But Tohka knew full well this was just a disguise—Natsumi was actually a little Loli. She didn't plan to expose her, though. She didn't have time to bicker with a fake onee-san right now. She'd leave this one for later—her real focus was still Nia and that bastard Westcott.
"As if he'd ever have the guts to pull something like that in front of me. Really, if you want to play tricks, let me suggest some targets." Tohka gave her a sly grin and leaned in to whisper.
"Really? Who do you mean?" The green-haired woman immediately perked up, bouncing over excitedly to ask.
"Here, I'm telling you—this one, this one, and this one. If you prank them, you'll have some real fun." Tohka pulled out her phone and quickly flipped through her photos. Then she showed Natsumi a few pictures—Origami Tobiichi, their homeroom teacher, and...Reine Murasame.
"Listen up—this white-haired one is Origami Tobiichi. She's actually super shy. This is our homeroom teacher—an aging single lady. And this last one is a sickly girl." Tohka gave Natsumi a mischievous look.
"Really? That does sound pretty fun." Natsumi blinked, then smiled eagerly.
"Yeah, yeah—go on, try it."
"Thanks! I'll do that right now."
With that, Natsumi transformed back into Shido's form. She didn't even care how Tohka had recognized her, just cheerfully skipped away.
"Amen—good luck." Watching her go, Tohka silently offered a blessing. Honestly, if Natsumi messed with those three, especially Origami and Reine, she was going to suffer badly. But so, what? Did she think taking advantage of her came cheap?
"Anyway...Kotori, huh? Where did that Spirit who left my house yesterday go? Don't tell me you weren't monitoring her." Tohka took out her phone and called.
"You mean her? I know." Kotori's voice came calmly through, and she quickly sent Tohka Nia's address. "By the way, that place has been abandoned for five years, but her house is still there."
"OK, thanks."
After hanging up, Tohka didn't feel like hanging around any longer. She flew straight toward Nia's home. Since she'd set Natsumi loose, she figured things around here would get noisy very soon—maybe too noisy. Best to get away now. As long as no one pinned her directly, she could always deny everything later.
"So, you mean after you left my place, you didn't eat anything? If you can't cook, couldn't you at least go out and buy something?" Arriving at Nia's house, Tohka found her collapsed over her desk. She couldn't help sighing.
"You don't understand. I missed so many amazing anime and beautiful doujins—I have to catch up on all of them. Eating? How could that get in my way?" Nia didn't even lift her head as she spoke, completely unconcerned.
"How could I not understand... Forget it. I'll go buy you something. Just keep watching your shows." Seeing her sprawled weakly but stubbornly at her computer, Tohka gave up. She walked over to the window—she'd climbed in this way before—and prepared to jump back out. She'd get her some food. Otherwise, never mind trying to win her over—she might starve to death. Although...probably, Spirits didn't actually need food.
"Eh? Little Tohka, just what are you planning?" Watching Tohka leave, Nia tilted her head curiously. Somehow, Tohka felt so mysterious to her. Even without using her angel, Nia knew that even if she had, it wouldn't have helped.
At the same time, back at school…
"What happened? Why is everyone looking at me like that?" Shido Itsuka, who had just arrived, suddenly found himself the public enemy of the entire class.
(My head hurts…)
