With his Secretary calling out to him brought Jae Won back to earth. Jae Won was trying to break free from Vincent but he wouldn't let go of him.
"Vice Chairman, your mom ….." said Secretary Kim. Vincent hearing Jae Won's mom finally let go of him but he still staring intently at him making Jae Won uncomfortable. 'What's with his stare?' thought Jae Won.
Jae Won walked towards the elevator leaving behind the mute Vincent who hasn't spoken a word all this while. He watched Jae Won as he walked towards the elevator without uttering a word.
He would have stopped him from walking away from him. "I'm sorry I have to go because there is an emergency" said Jae Won as he quickly rushed towards the elevator.
Vincent was still unresponsive to whatever that was happening. "Mr Vincent, we would have to reschedule the meeting" said Secretary Hye Ji as she spoke in Korean and in a soft voice that could make men melt.
She still got no response which got her confused. Vincent couldn't believe his eyes. He had just saw the love of his life. That cute face and kissable lips that he was faced after five years was just right in front of him.
Hye Ji was still standing close to Vincent unsure what to do next. Should she go leaving him behind or should she keep standing there.
It seems luck was on her side as the hyperactive Akwasi was seen walking towards them. From the far end, Akwasi could see something was wrong.
He approached him shaking him from his trance. Vincent slowly turned to the culprit who wouldn't let him dream, he shot a glare to the culprit that sent shivers down Akwasi's spine.
But he ignored it. "Why are you dreaming?" asked Akwasi while he glanced at Hye Ji who was still there. He gestured for her to leave which she did immediately. Besides the language wasn't what she could speak.
"I just saw Jae Won" Vincent replied with a smile lurking at the corner of his lips. Now Akwasi understood why he was standing there like a statue.
"Why aren't you with him?" asked the curious Akwasi. He was sure Vincent wouldn't have left Jae Won's side if truly he had seen him or met him. But here he was standing in a daze as though he is demented.
"He still looks so beautiful. No he is more beautiful that I would have kissed him if his Secretary didn't interrupt us" said Vincent.
Akwasi, "...….."
'I guess the meeting is off again, Let's go" said Akwasi as he walked back to the conference room to call Min Ji.
Two hours ago.
Jae Won was patiently waiting for the gentlemen to arrive so they could begin their meeting. He called Hye Ji through the office line asking if they had arrived but the answer wasn't what he was expecting.
Let's just say for the time the meeting was scheduled to the time he had another meeting, he called Hye Ji more than ten times.
"Is as though he is waiting for his girlfriend to arrive" said Hye Ji. Her boss behavior is so strange today. He hasn't done this before. While he was in a meeting did Hye Ji whispered into his ear about the arrival of the person he was waiting. A gentle smile appeared on his face.
He responded they should wait if that wasn't a problem for them. Jae Won was happy even though they were late, he might have a reason to it, he thought. Even though his company was in Africa, he was eager to introduce their products to them which will bring in more profit to the company paving way to his chairmanship.
Only to be disappointed by Secretary about his mom fainting an hour later. He had no choice but to leave him behind. And the confusing thing was the eyes of this person.
Hana and Soo Young called Secretary Kim about Jae Won's mom. After they left the police station, they went back to boutique after an hour they were on their way home while in the car conversing when Hana's gaze landed on Yi Seo, Jae Won's mum.
She was gasping for air while her driver was still seated in the car unaware what was happening to his boss. Hana upon seeing this shows no sigh of hesitation, she quickly made her driver stopped in his tracks as she matched towards her future in law.
With a little help from the others, she was in control of her breath once again. Even though Hana and Soo Young who also followed tried to take her to the hospital but she refused with "I am okay. No need for hospital."
Hana ordered her driver to take Soo Young home while she rode with her future in law in the car back home.
Without wasting much time, she called Secretary Kim and that was what happened.
Jae Won was now home inspecting her mother's body as though he was searching for a bomb from a terrorist.
"Relax, I'm no criminal. Beside I just felt dizzy and unable to breath that's all" said Yi Seo speaking as though she just drank a glass of water. That got Jae Won staring at her as though she would disappear the next few seconds.
Yi Seo felt her son's stare bored right into her skin. He glanced up only to confirmed what she felt.
"I'm sorry it's just that I bumped into someone and felt dizzy at that moment. I think I bumped into him too hard" said Yi Seo.
Jae Won, "...…."
Jae Won felt something was off. The first time Hana bumped into someone, she was admitted at the hospital and now his mother felt dizzy and unable to breathe also after bumping into someone.
"What's going on?" asked Yi Seo after she saw her son's thinking face. Jae Won came back to earth.
"Nothing" he said, he didn't want his mum to be worried. He knows he had an accident and till now there haven't been a suspect till now. There is something wrong and it always have to do with him meeting that man, he thought.
Now Jae Won was curious and eager to meet Vincent now. Does he have anything to do with that or is suffering from the consequences of his attack.
Thinking about Vincent, his memory flashed back to the time he fell right into Vincent's arm. Jae Won closed his eyes as he recall Vincent's eyes that was staring down at him.
For some unknown reason, he feels the eyes resembles his nightmare but what makes him put that thought at the back of his mind was Vincent being a guy.
"It can't be" said Jae Won with his mum responding "it can't be what?"
Jae Won realized he was still with his mum and had thought out loudly, he quickly put his thought away " just thinking about work" replied Jae Won.
Yi Seo who knew her son inside out knew he was lying. There is something wrong somewhere. Yi Seo and her husband are aware of what could happen if they make even a tiny mistake, they could lose everything.
They are always looking for opportunities to let their sons and daughters get to the chairman position.
Yi Seo stared at his son's disappearing body. She then directed her gaze towards Hana who shrugged her shoulders indicating she had no idea what he was thinking about.
Back at Vincent, he was quiet on their drive back to their apartment with Seung Jo gesturing what happened to Akwasi.
Before Akwasi could also replied him he was cut off with Vincent voice. "Akwasi, it feels like someone doesn't want Jae Won and I to meet" he said in their language.
Akwasi who never thought of that started to piece things back together. Any time they were supposed to meet Jae Won something happens for them to reschedule.
Akwasi responded back in their language and there it goes. They talked about every little thing that had happened from the moment they landed in this country till now. Now they were one hundred percent sure something was off.
"I would have to take things into my hands now, if they won't let me meet him I will find a way to go to him instead." As Vincent said this, he slouched back to rest his back as he thought of something.
"Wait…." Vincent said in English making Min Ho hit the brakes instantly. Luckily there were no car following them at that time or else they would have been in a minor accident.
"Sorry, I'm not talking to you" said Vincent now turning to Akwasi "why did he acted as if he didn't know me?" asked Vincent.
Now Akwasi didn't know what to say since he wasn't there when Vincent met Jae Won in that short amount of time so he wouldn't know what actually happened.
"Why, what did he do?" asked Akwasi now they are speaking in English making Seung Jo and Min Ji curious with their ears perked up like a rabbit.
Min Ji wondered who they were talking about while on the other hand, Seung Jo didn't care who they were talking about all he wanted to know was what he was about to say.
"He showed no reaction and only said 'my eyes look like…' that's when his Secretary interrupted him" said Vincent.
Akwasi, "...…."
"I see" Seung Jo mumbled.
