Jisoo had seen a lot of fighters since the system came down. She'd fought most of them. She'd beaten most of them.
She knew within thirty seconds that she wasn't going to beat these ones easily.
It started the moment Pyo yawned. His crew didn't wait for an order. They didn't need one. Eight of them spread across the wrecked hall like they'd done this a hundred times, and every one of them moved like they already knew where the others were going to be.
Hanseong came off the floor fast, wiping blood from his jaw, and went straight back at Pyo. He didn't use his blades this time. He went in with his fists, low and fast, aiming for the ribs.
He never got there.
A thin young man near the stairs snapped his fingers.
SNAP.
Hanseong vanished. In his place, sitting right in front of Pyo, was a chunk of broken railing. And Hanseong was suddenly on the far side of the hall, stumbling, halfway through a punch that hit nothing but air.
"What..." Hanseong spun around.
