They didn't leave right away.
A road trip, Jin had said, like it was nothing. Like they could throw some clothes in a bag and walk out the gate. But the moment the words left his mouth, he'd watched Seul's face change from amused to thoughtful, and he'd known exactly what she was thinking, because he was thinking it too.
They couldn't just leave. Not anymore.
So that night, after the last of the new arrivals had been fed and settled into their beds, the four of them sat back down at the long table in the meeting room with a pot of fresh tea and a map of the city spread out between them, and they planned.
"How long will we be gone?" Joon asked.
"As short as we can make it," Jin said. "Suwon's not that far. A day to get there, if we push. A day or two inside, if they let us in. A day back." He shook his head. "Four days. Five at the most. Anything longer than that and I start getting nervous."
"Four days is a long time," Seul said quietly. "With all these people."
"I know."
