Brave told her what was necessary and omitted the gory part on purpose. It wasn't a very pleasant thing to say or to listen to. He knew she was scared of the fact that he and his entire family were werewolves. That's why she, with her family members, ran away overnight. He wouldn't disclose such gruesome details to her.
Myra listened to him carefully. After he stopped talking, a heavy silence hung in the air. She recalled seeing a blurry, fuzzy figure walking toward her. So, it wasn't a dream. She wasn't dazed. It was Brave who came to rescue her.
A lump settled in her throat as she said, her speech came out hoarse, "Thank you~ … Mr. Everests. Thank you for saving my life." Tears pooled in her eyes.
