Chapter 147 - CHAPTER 147

CHAPTER 147

Ragna did not know where the creators of the Greenskins were.

During her investigation, Liang Bing found no traces of a civilization advanced enough to have engineered them. But that did not mean such a force did not exist. If the civilization behind the Greenskins was truly at a high level, it was possible they had hidden themselves from detection—even from her.

That thought concerned Ragna .

However, if such an advanced civilization truly existed nearby, then by now, they would have already noticed everything about him. Worrying about it was pointless.

More importantly, the Greenskins had already provoked war.

Ragna had no habit of tolerating provocation.

"Keisha, Liang Bing," Ragna 's voice echoed through the throne room. His gaze swept over the two high-ranking Angels. "The Greenskin expedition forces will be left to you. Conquer their three core worlds and process their bodies into energy for the Reincarnation Pool. The Angel Legion must expand—immediately."

The Holy Heavenly Palace was growing, but their military numbers were still too low for true interstellar dominance.

Ragna , who had fully inherited the psychic legacy of the Psionics, could now clearly grasp the secrets of the Reincarnation Pool. As long as he had enough energy and raw materials, he could construct more Reincarnation Pools at any time.

Before, the Angels were created at a fixed annual rate, limited by the natural energy absorption of the existing Reincarnation Pool. But now, with Ragna 's modifications, the creation rate had no upper limit—it was only bound by how much energy and how many souls he could acquire.

Even the Celestial forges did not possess such an advantage.

However, there was still a restriction.

"The Reincarnation Pool I have now is only Level 1, meaning it can only create Angels with a maximum combat strength of Tier 15," Ragna murmured. "Even with abundant energy, the current conversion rate only allows me to produce 10,000 Angels per day… far too few."

Keisha and Liang Bing nodded in understanding. Without hesitation, they led the First and Second Angel Corps, alongside a fleet of steel-clad warriors, and launched a full-scale counterattack against the Greenskins.

Meanwhile, Ragna remained seated upon the Throne of the Celestial Order, contemplating his next move.

A standard fifth-level civilization had a structured military composition:

• A small number of high-end combatants, ranging from Tier 13 to Tier 15.

• A moderate number of mid-tier combatants, between Tier 10 and Tier 12.

• An overwhelming majority of lower-tier combatants, typically ranging from Tier 7 to Tier 9.

The strength of his Angel Legions placed them on par with the core warriors of a fifth-level civilization. Even the lowest-ranking Angel possessed Tier 2 combat ability, making them elite by conventional standards. However, the high-ranking Archangels and Seraphim remained a minority.

The problem was low-end numbers.

His forces were still too scarce.

Even with the Iron Legion that Tony Stark had engineered, the maximum combat power of those units barely reached Tier 9, rendering them expendable fodder against higher civilizations.

The production lines continued assembling new Iron Legion units, but the resources required were astronomical. Each steel warrior needed refined materials, and acquiring those resources across intergalactic trade networks came at a high cost.

While Ragna could use the Reincarnation Pool to directly convert raw energy into materials, doing so was inefficient. It was far more practical to create Angels, whose combat power and evolutionary potential far surpassed mechanized forces.

The Iron Legion's limitations were clear.

Even with the combined research efforts of Hexi and Tony Stark, the technological advancements needed to elevate the Iron Legion beyond its current capabilities would take time. And time was a luxury Ragna did not have.

In contrast, the Angels—biological weapons forged by Psionic mastery—had no such constraints.

So long as Ragna possessed enough souls and energy, the Angels could evolve without limit.

Reincarnation Pool: Level 1

• Core Creation of the Psionic Dynasty

• Consumes energy to produce Angels ranging from Tier 4 to Tier 12.

• Can be upgraded.

Upgrade Requirements:

• 1,000,000 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 7 beings or higher)

• 10,000 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 9 beings or higher)

• 100 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 12 beings or higher)

• 1 Billion Base Energy Units

New Reincarnation Pool Forging Requirements:

• 1,000,000 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 4 beings or higher)

• 10,000 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 7 beings or higher)

• 100 Soul Energy Points (from Tier 9 beings or higher)

• 100 Million Base Energy Units

Each high-intelligence creature typically possessed Soul Energy roughly equal to its life level. The stronger the being, the greater its Soul Energy and body energy reserves. However, advancing Soul Energy beyond a certain threshold was exceedingly rare.

Outside the Psionic Dynasty, almost no species could develop an individual with over 10,000 Soul Energy Points.

Ragna glanced at the Reincarnation Pool's upgrade conditions and nodded.

Sending Keisha and Liang Bing to eradicate the Greenskins had not been a rash decision. The moment the Greenskins invaded Angel Star, they had sealed their fate.

The souls and bio-energy of the Greenskins—especially those above Tier 7—would be enough to forge several new Reincarnation Pools.

While destroying the entire Greenskin species wouldn't be enough to push his existing Reincarnation Pool to Level 2, it would still significantly accelerate the process.

The Brutal Reality of Civilizations

At lower tiers, civilizations could sometimes overcome their inferiors through numbers or strategic ingenuity.

However, once they advanced into mid and high-tier civilizations, such disparities became insurmountable.

Even the weakest high-tier civilization had individuals with Tier 16+ combat strength.

And at Tier 16 and beyond, an individual could theoretically destroy an entire galactic system given enough time.

The war against the Greenskins was already decided.

Unless their mysterious creator suddenly appeared, there was no hope for them.

However, Ragna was not complacent.

The possibility of the Greenskins' creator intervening was low, but not zero. Just in case, he had already set up contingencies.

Angel Star was now completely shielded, though such defenses would be meaningless against an opponent at Celestial-tier or higher.

Even so, the true core of the Holy Heavenly Palace was not Angel Star.

It was Ragna himself—the true inheritor of the Psionic Dynasty's power.

The moment Keisha and Liang Bing launched their offensive, Ragna silently departed from Angel Star.

His destination?

The Cass Pantheon.

Among the twenty-three worlds ruled by the Cass Pantheon, there were tens of billions of intelligent beings—all of them potential sources of faith and energy.

Ragna had no interest in infiltrating the Star Federation—a Level 5 Technological Civilization—because their strict population control made covert influence nearly impossible.

But the Cass Pantheon?

Their civilization thrived on belief.

And belief was something Ragna intended to claim.

His first stop: Orante Continent, an outer-world colony of the Cass Pantheon.

It was time to reshape faith itself.
