Liam unfolded his arms slowly and stared straight at Mirov. His voice came out calm, but with a hint of disbelief. "So let me get this straight," he said. "If I decide to believe you for a second… what you're saying is not only do vampires exist, but witches too?"
Mirov nodded without hesitation.
Liam blinked, his lips parting slightly. "Unbelievable," he muttered under his breath.
"And werewolves too," Mirov added, as if it was the most casual thing in the world.
Liam's head snapped back toward him. "What?"
Mirov's face stayed serious. "Werewolves exist too."
Liam let out a small laugh, shaking his head. "All right, now you're just saying bullshit," he said, rubbing his temple. "You expect me to believe that? What's next, dragons? Maybe fairies and goblins hiding in the dark too?"
But Mirov didn't look like he was joking. Not even a little.
