Asher's eyes locked onto his opponent, Number 3, as he summoned his Assassin Blade. The sword materialized in his hand, its sleek design and deadly edge a perfect counter to Number 3's Explosive Sword.
The battle began, with the two swords clashing in a flurry of steel and explosions. The stage was filled with the sound of detonating blades and the acrid smell of smoke. Asher and Number 3 exchanged blows, each landing with precision and power.
The fight was long and grueling, with neither side giving an inch. Asher's Assassin Blade sliced through the air, striking true time and again, but Number 3's Explosive Sword was a formidable opponent, capable of unleashing devastating blasts of energy.
As the battle raged on, Asher decided to up the ante. He focused his mind and activated the Teleportation attribute he had stolen from Stephen. In an instant, he vanished and reappeared behind Number 3, striking before his opponent could even react.
But Asher wasn't done yet. As he clashed with Number 3, he unlocked a new skill - Shadow Walk. This ability allowed him to disappear into any shadow, making him all but invisible.
Asher's eyes gleamed with excitement as he realized the potential of his new skill. He used Shadow Walk to slip behind Number 3, striking from the most unexpected angle. Number 3 spun around, but Asher was already gone, vanished into the shadows.
Number 3's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with the implications of Asher's new skill. Teleportation was predictable, especially for someone of his rank. But Shadow Walk was different. It made Asher all but undetectable, allowing him to strike from anywhere.
Asher took advantage of his opponent's momentary confusion, striking again and again from the shadows. Number 3 stumbled backward, his defenses breached by Asher's unpredictable attacks.
The crowd watched in awe as Asher danced across the stage, his Shadow Walk ability making him all but invisible. Number 3 was a formidable opponent, but Asher's new skill had given him the upper hand.
As the battle raged on, it became clear that Asher was the superior fighter. Number 3's Explosive Sword was powerful, but Asher's Assassin Blade and Shadow Walk ability made him almost unbeatable.
Asher dodged to the side, avoiding the blast by a hair's breadth. As Number 3 recovered from his attack, Asher seized the opportunity to strike. He activated his Teleportation attribute, vanishing and reappearing behind Number 3.
Before Number 3 could even react, Asher struck, his Assassin Blade slicing through the air with deadly precision. Number 3 tried to defend himself, but Asher's attack was too fast, too powerful.
Number 3 stumbled backward, his defenses breached by Asher's sudden attack. Asher pressed his advantage, striking again and again with his Assassin Blade.
Asher realized that he needed to end the battle quickly. He focused his mind and activated his Shadow Walk ability, disappearing into the shadows.
Number 3 spun around, trying to locate Asher, but he was nowhere to be seen. Asher used his Shadow Walk ability to move around the stage, striking from unexpected angles and catching Number 3 off guard.
Number 3 tried to defend himself, but Asher's attacks were too unpredictable, too powerful. He stumbled backward, his defenses breached by Asher's relentless assault.
Finally, with a decisive blow, Asher struck Number 3 down, ending the battle. Number 3 fell to the ground, defeated, and Asher stood over him, his chest heaving with exhaustion.
The crowd erupted into cheers, hailing Asher as the winner. Mochi's voice echoed through the speakers, "And the winner of the first match is... Lonedemon! He earns 100 points for his victory!"
The system then notified Asher "Congratulations, you have leveled up".
Asher was surprised he levelled up, he did not level up when he fought those monsters and even defeated a behemoth.
He then asked the system why that is, and the system explains to him that, he borrowed him a power, and he didn't use his own strength to unlock the power, so he as no account for defeating those monsters, because he didn't, the demon powers did.
Asher thought, and said, "You are a really corny system".
Asher went straight to change back to him formally worn clothes, and went to meet Emily and jake.
"where have you been", Emily asked.
"Sorry, I was looking for a bathroom, and I lost my way", Asher lied trying to hide his secret.
Emily and Jake looked at each other, seemingly unconvinced by Asher's excuse. But they didn't press the issue, and instead asked him about the battle they had just witnessed.
"Hey, Asher, we saw the battle between Lonedemon and Number 3," Jake said, his eyes wide with excitement. "That was insane! Who is Lonedemon, anyway?"
Asher's heart skipped a beat as he tried to maintain his composure. He couldn't let his friends find out that he was Lonedemon.
"I have no idea," Asher said, trying to sound nonchalant. "But yeah, that battle was crazy. I've never seen anyone fight like that before."
Emily nodded in agreement. "I know, right? I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'm just glad that Lonedemon won."
Asher smiled, trying to hide his relief. He was glad that he had been able to keep his secret safe, at least for now.
As they walked away from the arena, Asher couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had won the battle, and he had kept his secret safe.
But he knew that he couldn't let his guard down. There were still many battles to come, and he had to be careful not to reveal his true identity.
Asher's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Mochi's voice, echoing through the speakers once again.
"The next battle is about to begin," Mochi announced. "The contestants are... Emily and Number 5!"
Emily's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to Asher and Jake. "That's me!" she exclaimed. "I have to go!"
Asher and Jake nodded, wishing her good luck as she made her way to the arena.
Asher watched as Emily faced off against Number 5, his heart pounding with anxiety. He knew that Emily was strong, but he also knew that Number 5 was a formidable opponent.
As the battle began, Asher couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that Emily was in danger, and he couldn't do anything to help her.
