Silvanus was just getting back on his feet when a face suddenly stopped right in front of him.
Nana stood motionless. From Silvanus's angle, all he could see was the soft yet sharply defined curve of her chin.
Then, without warning, she lowered her head and raised her leg.
Silvanus frowned and rolled to the side at top speed before springing back up.
He looked at Nana and smiled. "Why didn't you keep going?"
Nana tilted her head, sneering. "I'm strong, not stupid."
Immediately after, the rumbling noise grew louder and louder, as though something enormous was drawing near. Then, under everyone's disbelieving gazes, a part of that thing's body slowly emerged from the door.
It was a shade of jade blue, translucent, its body covered in dark azure scales that gleamed like fish scales. Along its spine flowed a mane of cloud-like fur—ethereal yet full of power.
Just what kind of beast could come out of such a small doorway?
