------------

Whether Loki misunderstood Thanos, or if that's the truth, it doesn't matter.

Anyway, Noah's observation was that if Odin took Loki to confront Thanos, that guy probably wouldn't be able to argue his way out of it.

Of course, Noah thought this was impossible, and Thanos probably wouldn't confront Odin either. It wasn't arrogance, but that guy would never stay if he knew he couldn't win.

This universe is vast and terrifying, yet this guy manages to stir up so much trouble within it. Cautiously avoiding unconquerable enemies must be a crucial part

of his strategy.

Loki left, and Thor ultimately didn't tell him what the Tesseract really was.

After he departed, the evacuation of Manhattan also proceeded swiftly.

The people living on Manhattan Island were primarily wealthy, and they shared a common trait: they greatly valued their lives. When they received notifications through various channels, they didn't fuss over details and immediately chose to cooperate and leave.

However, while these wealthy residents of Manhattan Island were relatively easy to handle, the ordinary citizens proved more difficult.

After much effort, Fury and his team, with cooperation from various sectors, managed to evacuate them, but these people only went to the surrounding areas, and

very nearby ones at that.

"These fearless fools! You can see Manhattan Island from across the sea, what kind of evacuation is this?"

Tony was utterly exasperated by this. Even as he flew around outside in his Iron Man suit, the ordinary people didn't pay him much mind.

Should he explain to them that aliens were coming?

Tony himself would probably be the first to receive a warning, something like 'do not spread rumors' would definitely be pinned on him.

And Fury was in a similar boat; the pressure he faced

during this period was far greater than Tony's. Tony was a wealthy man, but beyond that identity, he was just an ordinary person a wealthy ordinary person with the

ability to protect himself.

Fury's identity, however, was clearly not that of a free man like Tony. Not to mention the pressure from within the U.S., his superiors at S.H.I.E.L.D. the World Security Council were constantly giving Fury trouble.

Furthermore, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s internal affairs were also deeply discordant, which was even more of a headache for Fury. Having learned from Noah that the situation within S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed somewhat peculiar, he had anticipated and planned for such issues, but their actual

outbreak still left him frustrated.

"What a bunch of annoying guys." Fury sighed: "Noah, are you sure Loki won't run off with the Tesseract?"

"Don't worry, he's been under my watchful eye." Noah glanced at Thor, thought for a moment, and chose different words before continuing: "Besides, there's no benefit for him to run, so stop complaining about these

inexplicable things."

"Is that so? Good then. By the way, when will this thing probably start?"

"Do you even need to ask that question? You'll know just by looking."

Noah stretched. This matter truly just required looking.

Because the beam of light emitted by the Tesseract was so conspicuous. Even if a colorblind person couldn't see the blue glow, a slowly expanding wormhole would appear in the sky, and there's no way that thing couldn't be seen, right?

Moreover, even if one didn't intend to watch, they should be asking Tony about it. After all, that was Tony's home turf, and Noah couldn't believe Tony wouldn't be paying attention to his own company.

You might think he doesn't have much time to manage his company, but the fact that he turned his company's building into a New York landmark basically shows his intent.

Noah thought to himself, and Noah was confident that no matter how or when the wormhole opened, they could easily handle it!

Fury and his team were preparing, the Avengers were preparing, not to mention the wizards Noah had already summoned, who had already assembled.

Although they didn't all gather in the American magical community mainly because many powerful wizards, especially from the magically strong nations, were core members of their respective Ministries of Magic, and they couldn't just leave arbitrarily.

So, the participating wizards were gathering in their own magical communities, waiting. As for the small and medium-sized magical communities, they could only grudgingly go to the magical communities of these larger nations.

Noah truly didn't need to worry about this situation. Once the Chitauri arrived, they would likely be arrogant that's a given, otherwise, who would know their combat strength?

When they started wreaking havoc, that's when the

wizards would descend.

As Noah was contemplating, a figure suddenly appeared before him. Noah looked up briefly and lost interest; it was Loki, or more accurately, a projection of Loki. While this projection could fool eighty to ninety percent of people, it unfortunately didn't include Noah and his companions.

"Are you ready?" Noah wasn't in the mood to expose his little trick and asked directly.

"Yes, ready." Loki nodded: "How about you all? How are your preparations? Don't be caught off guard when the enemy arrives."

"Don't worry." Noah stood up, then turned to Fury and the others: "Folks, everything's about to begin. The first

wave of defense is up to you."

"As long as you're okay, I think everyone else will be

fine."

Fury nodded, then turned to look at Tony, Steve, and Banner. As for Hawkeye and Black Widow, they simply turned and left; they needed to prepare their weapons.

"Don't worry, we've got this." Steve said directly, his expression very serious. After he finished speaking, he also turned and left.

"Although I don't know why you want me to go with them, rest assured." Tony also dropped some of his usual playful demeanor, but as he and Banner left, he

deliberately scared Banner.

This action made Fury and Coulson's eyelids twitch repeatedly, but Tony asked nonchalantly: "Hey buddy, are you sure you can get the big guy out later?"

Banner smiled helplessly and awkwardly: "I think it should be fine."

Watching them leave, Noah finally turned his gaze to

Loki's projection: "Go, open the portal."

"Alright." Loki nodded: "Then, I'll begin."
