Chapter 721 - Chapter 720: A Cataclysmic Change in the Domain-The Silver Core Emerges

After playing with Hermione for a while, she eventually rushed off to the Ministry for a routine meeting.

Hermione's responsible attitude fit Western work values well, while some of Noah's habits felt slightly out of place. But no one would question him now.

He wasn't just any mage; he was the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj-the one who had revitalized the magical world.

Once Hermione left, Noah's pleasant expression faded. Sitting on the bed, he began to ponder.

He hadn't expected things to develop so far beyond his predictions. Earlier, when the System attempted to fuse the eight powers, it hadn't gone smoothly at first-which fit Noah's expectations.

But as the System became more proficient, truly merging these eight conflicting powers-some of which repelled each other-Noah was utterly stunned.

Silver-white energy, suffused with mystery and a suffocating presence, rose from the center of the eight powers. Noah froze. Even the System fell silent.

The silence dominated the System Space, infecting everything.

Looking at the silver power, gestating at the center, neither Noah nor the System spoke. Both understood exactly what it was.

"Simply incredible." Noah swallowed and broke the silence.

"The fusion of eight powers... results in this?"

"This also exceeds my parameters of understanding." The System's voice remained mechanical, though fatigue was detectable. "I am also confused. This was not in my programming. This is the first time I've learned that such silver power can be produced through the synthesis of different elemental forces."

Noah felt dejected. Even he didn't know the specific name of this spectral power-or why it existed within his System. The possibility it could activate a hidden function-perhaps seeking its true master-worried him.

The Void.

Having played games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft, Noah knew the name. The culprit behind Azeroth's chaos, the prehistoric source of Valoran's troubles.

If this power appeared in his universe, how would he resist it? True Ice to seal the portal? Or brute force?

"Instead of worrying about impractical things, think positively," the System said suddenly. "Though I cannot determine the category or origin of this power, it proves your potential."

"But... aren't you afraid your creator will come after us?" Noah muttered.

"Would you bother with an ant?" the System replied.

...Cold.

Noah, a demigod-level mage, inwardly complained-but he had to admit: once strength reaches a certain level, weaker existences barely register. Just like in the Naruto universe-he hadn't taken even the strongest ninjas seriously.

If the Void Lords were ordinary, then the Lord of the Void was unimaginably powerful-the master of the Void World, alongside the Material and Death worlds.

"Simply terrifying beyond imagination," Noah sighed, shaking his head. Comparing realms only led to sorrow.

He focused on his own world. Even if called an ant, he understood: there's always a bigger fish. Ants had their happiness; peak power didn't guarantee fulfillment. He had people who cared, shared his tastes, and loved him. Nothing to complain about.

"Alright, no more depressing topics. How should I handle this silver power?"

"Fuse and produce as much as possible," the System replied. "Its intensity is beyond imagination. While it cannot match my full capacity, it has reached a terrifying level. Familiarize yourself with it."

"I see." Noah nodded.

"How much have you refined so far?"

"Open your Domain. I continued fusing after you left. Perhaps thanks to your experience and my discovery of the first stage of usage, I've fused about a quarter."

"A quarter?" Noah raised an eyebrow and immediately expanded his Domain.

The rhythm of the System Space surged. The massive Domain spread, spheres of various colors surfacing slowly.

Noah noticed a peculiar change: originally, wondrous phenomena-mountains, rivers-manifested only in the central area where energy rings intersected. Now, similar manifestations appeared on the spheres condensed in the center. The dominant force remained at the core.

Perhaps the fusion of powers caused it. Now every sphere could use fusion magic. Though biased differently, each was essentially a mage capable of wielding a fusion light-sword, as Noah had against Dormammu.

"Simply... incredible," Noah murmured, eyes drawn to the center.

But another sphere had appeared-entirely silver, enigmatic, capable of releasing magic in all forms. It was nothingness, yet it truly existed.

Most importantly, within the silver sphere, Noah perceived something tiny, almost imperceptible-but undeniably present.

Life.
