Chapter 195 - 197Chapter 197: Jedi Escape

Stepping through the golden gate, Ryan was surprised to find themselves in an underground space.

In the center of the space stood a normal-sized pyramid, only a dozen meters high, and around it, several red-robed figures were engaged in some unknown activity.

In front of the pyramid, in the plaza, a constantly rotating black hole spewed out various objects; Ryan even saw the Doomsday Clock being ejected.

It seemed that not only the so-called divine kingdom had collapsed, but also the outer space where the kilometer-high pyramid was built.

As Ryan was pondering this, several people rushed out of the black hole, and then the black hole closed.

It appeared that these were the surviving personnel from that space who, realizing the dire situation, moved all important items out before retreating themselves.

As soon as they emerged, those people shouted, "It's bad! Enemies have infiltrated! The enemies triggered the mechanisms in the Blood God Hall, preventing the Doomsday Clock from charging, killed the President , and finally destroyed that space!"

No sooner had the words fallen than the red-robed Blood God Cult members in the plaza began to panic.

Just then, another person crawled out of a small cave next to this place and frantically shouted, "It's bad! Aurors and professors from Castelobruxo have appeared nearby! I saw them escorting our companions who previously attacked them.

They will discover us soon!"

Hearing this news, the plaza became even more chaotic.

Suddenly, a chanting sound rang out: "Avada Kedavra!"

A green light shot out from the temple, striking the person who was shouting the loudest in the plaza.

Everyone immediately stopped panicking, and the plaza fell silent.

"Everyone (BEEP) shut up and listen to me!" A middle-aged man in a blood-red, gold-trimmed robe walked out of the temple at the top of the pyramid.

"The situation isn't that bad yet.

Our entrance has enough traps and guards; it will take them a while to get in.

We still have enough time."

The middle-aged man looked at the motley crew below, saw that they had all calmed down, and then continued to instruct, "Gilberto, take ten men to guard the entrance and try to delay their attack.

The rest of you will join me here to find the guys who just infiltrated the Blood God Hall space.

The only exit after leaving that space is here, and Apparition is forbidden here, so the destroyers must still be here.

Those sent by the Aurors to do this kind of thing are 100% their elite; as long as we catch them, we can negotiate with those people up there."

As soon as he finished speaking, a burly man with a scarred face led ten wizards out of the small cave from which the messenger wizard had just emerged.

The remaining people completely dispersed, seemingly preparing to search for Ryan and Hermione.

Is it really necessary? Twenty or thirty adult wizards to catch two third-year little wizards?

Ryan muttered to himself while, with Hermione, who had regained consciousness, he used the surrounding caves to play hide-and-seek with their pursuers.

It was only during their escape that Ryan discovered an unfortunate situation: due to the severity of his injuries this time, he would only be able to maintain the normal magical power level of a third or fourth-year for the next month.

After all, he had previously used spells far beyond his power level; in this situation, a complete recovery from his injuries was already a very good outcome.

But for him, who was currently on the run, having only this level of magical power was a very bad situation.

Initially, with the help of the Disillusionment Charm, the two managed to evade a wave of pursuing wizards.

But later, a pale-faced, very weak-looking wizard, who was trailing behind, cut his arm and released blood, then chanted a spell over his blood.

The blood on the ground quickly transformed into palm-sized moths made of blood, which, after circling for a while, quickly flew towards Ryan and Hermione.

The wizards behind them also followed, as if they had discovered a treasure.

Damn it, the Disillusionment Charm can't hide a person's scent; this is bad.

Ryan slowly raised his arm, aimed at the closest pursuer, and fired a Stunning Spell, then grabbed Hermione and ran.

"They're over there! Don't let them get away!"

The effect of the Disillusionment Charm was still present, preventing the pursuers from determining Ryan and Hermione's true identities.

However, once they started running, the invisibility effect of the spell itself was completely broken, and the group of wizards quickly caught up.

After turning a few corners, another group of wizards suddenly appeared from the front and aimed spells at Ryan and Hermione.

Fortunately, due to their previous practice, the two nimbly dodged the spells.

But this delay meant that the pursuers from behind were also catching up, and the two of them were trapped in this corridor.

"Alohomora!" Hermione said, pointing her wand at a nearby iron door and incanting the spell.

The door opened, and the two immediately slipped inside.

"Lumos!" Ryan raised his wand and began to look around.

He saw many bags piled in the corner and shelves lining the room; it was clearly a warehouse.

"Immobulus!" Ryan and Hermione used magic to lock the door, then used the Levitation Charm to stack the shelves behind the door.

Strangely, at this moment, the wizards outside did not blast the door open.

But Ryan soon understood why.

After activating his Zixia Divine Skill, he heard a somewhat sharp voice coming from outside the door: "Don't use explosive spells.

The people inside must be alive; if they die, we can't threaten those Aurors outside."

Soon, spell after spell impacted the door, and Ryan felt that the protective charms they had cast on the door were faltering.

So they raised their wands, attempting to reinforce the protective charms on the door, but because of the vast difference in power between Ryan and Hermione and the wizards outside, their magic was quickly depleted under the relentless attacks from outside.

Finally, the protective charms on the door vanished.

After a few seconds of silence, a dozen spells simultaneously struck the door, leaving a dozen dents of varying sizes on the iron door.

At this point, Ryan and Hermione had no more magic to reinforce their defenses.

Fortunately, the iron door held off the first round of attacks, but it was likely that it would collapse with the next round or the one after that.

As soon as the first round of attacks ended, Ryan knew they couldn't hold out here; they could only resort to the last plan.

He communicated with the Myriad Realms General Store, prepared for an emergency escape, and was about to pull Hermione when he saw her suddenly walk towards the door.

Ryan grabbed her and asked, "What are you doing?"

Hermione, pulled back, sniffled and said, "After all, the Disillusionment Charm didn't disappear when we ran, so those people outside might not know how many of us there are.

If I go out now and distract them, you might be safe."

"Silly girl." Ryan smiled and shook his head, then took Hermione's hand and said, "I have a spell now.

You just need to close your eyes, and when you feel a force pulling you, don't resist, and we'll be able to escape."

Hermione closed her eyes as instructed, and Ryan immediately activated the emergency escape.

A golden light flashed, and the two vanished from the warehouse.

No sooner had they disappeared than a new round of magic struck the iron door.

The iron door could no longer withstand the assault and crashed down, kicking up a large amount of dust.

Before the dust had settled, the wizards outside swarmed in.

However, they found the warehouse empty; the invisible people who had fled into the warehouse had completely disappeared.
