Isha's father was still in jail, so Hansika and Reet's fathers together finalized Isha's marriage with Ishaan. The wedding date was three months away.

Seeing her like this, Isha, Swati, Ana, and Reet went towards her. Riya was about to stand up when Reet stopped her. After all, she was pregnant. Reet didn't want to disturb Riya.
Anna shook Suhana and asked, "What happened, Suhana? Are you okay now? Why are you standing like that? Has something happened?" Suhana didn't respond.
Anna shook Suhana vigorously, and tears welled up in her eyes. She was in no condition to speak or explain anything. Anna and the other girls then led Suhana to the sofa and made her sit comfortably.

Suhana then explained, "The call was from the Army. They said that Di and her battalion were moving from one post to another. Suddenly, the enemy attacked them. While saving a soldier, Di herself was hit by a bomb.
Then there was only smoke. The shoulder later called for a rescue team, but by the time they arrived, everything was gone. The rescue team only found Di's locket.
The conditions there were so bad that it was impossible to tell which body part belonged to whom. That's why it took them so long to inform us. The accident happened a month ago, but it took them so long to examine the body.
Di was identified through that locket. When they confirmed that Di was gone, they called me. Now they are coming here to bid her a final farewell."
Hearing Suhana's words, the entire room fell into a state of silence. The room, which had been filled with laughter and jokes, seemed as if someone had cast an evil eye on it.
No one was in a position to speak. Tears were flowing from Ritwik's eyes. Akhil went to him and consoled him. Suhana, Ana, and Swati were inconsolable.
While they were celebrating the reunion of Ishaan and Vihaan, they had no idea that their sister had left them. How could anyone prepare for a wedding in such an environment? Marriage was a distant dream.
