Chapter 343 - The Target on the Horizon

WILOW-Ch.343: The Target on the Horizon

Astapor City, Slaver's Bay

POV of Domeric Bolton

The next day, Muron left the city with the Fleet now grown to 130 ships. Grey Worm also left the city on foot with 12,000 Unsullied.

The 3,000 Unsullied in Astapor were left under an Unsullied named Hero. He was the second-in-command of Domeric's Unsullied Army.

He put Missandei under the protection of the Unsullied and appointed Marselen and Mossador as her personal guards. He also gave her a communication mirror so she could contact him if something went wrong.

Because, as much as he would like to stay here and make sure that everything goes alright, he needed to fight yet another war back in Westeros and couldn't stay here for long.

So once his army and his fleet left for Yunkai, he returned to Westeros.

Domeric arrived directly at Ygritte's location in his flying car via the car's portkey feature.

He could see his 700 men marching below on their horses.

Raksa and Ygritte were on the rear while Varko was leading from the front.

This time, instead of landing, Domeric opened his car door, summoned his hoverboard from his inventory, and stepped onto it. Then he placed his flying car back in his inventory.

He flew up in the sky and used his magical far-eye. He could see the Northern host on the horizon.

It was hard to miss the camp of 35,000 men, or the large amount of smoke being generated from the temporary kitchens.

Or the two large castles in the middle of the river.

He had gotten pretty good at judging the distance from up in the air and could guess that the Northern host and the Twins were some 50-55 kilometers away from his position.

Meaning that his army will probably catch up in two days or one day of forced march.

He flew down to the ground and started flying beside Ygritte and Raksa.

Raksa noticed him instantly, but he was behind Ygritte, so she didn't notice him.

He gestured for Raksa to remain silent and swatted Ygritte on her ass.

She yelped, then, in a fluid motion, drew her bow, placed an arrow, and pointed it at him.

He took her arm and pointed the bow toward the sky while flying beside her.

"Is this a proper way to greet your man?" he asked, and she scoffed and put the arrow and bow back in their position before she turned and pulled him toward herself in a passionate kiss.

Once they separated, he stepped down from the hoverboard and sat down on the horse behind her.

"Did you miss me?" he asked as he kissed her neck and groped her breast while his other hand reached inside her breeches.

"I'll… inform Varko that you're back," Raksa said and trotted ahead.

"You chased her away, Domeric Bolton." Ygritte said as she moaned and slumped on his chest, "You're a bad man."

He went up and nibbled on her earlobes while his hand started to tweak her breast from outside her clothes, and his other hand rubbed her clit.

She took a sharp breath as he sent a few minor jolts through his finger into her clit and then started rubbing faster and faster.

Her breath quickened, but she held his arm, trying to stop him from moving too much.

He slowed down and looked at her curiously.

"Don't want to dirty my breeches too much," Ygritte explained, and he nodded and took his hand out of her breeches.

"I missed you," Ygritte said as she sighed, leaned her head on his shoulder, and closed her eyes.

"I missed you as well." He said and nuzzled her cheeks with affection.

She opened her eyes and looked at him. "Did you get the Unsullied army?"

"I did." He answered, "15,000 of them. Though about 5000 are still in training."

Ygritte's eyes widened at the large number, and he chuckled, his half-erected cock rubbing against her firm ass.

"I know." He said, "I also gained gold, silver coins, along with a lot of treasure."

"How?" Ygritte asked as she scrunched up her nose in confusion.

"I bought the Unsullied and then sacked the city with them." He said with a shrug.

Ygritte's eyes widened before she burst into laughter.

"That sounds so stupid and smart at the same time." She laughed, "Tell me everything."

So, he did. Halfway through the story, Raksa returned with Varko, who brought Domeric's horse back with him.

He jumped on his own horse and told them the story as well.

"So, you went and conquered a city in a few days, and then you sent your army to besiege another city, is that correct, my lord?" Varko asked in a slightly irritated tone.

"Ugh... Yeah, sort of." He said.

"When you left, you told us you were going there to oversee the purchase of the Unsullied personally. Not to fight, and certainly not to conquer a city. If you had such a plan, you should have taken Raksa or me with you." Varko said.

"Don't worry, Varko. Muron and his men were on my side. Besides..." Domeric began to list his excuses, but Varko wasn't about to listen.

"Muron is not your sworn shield, my lord. He doesn't have an enhanced physique. And he certainly shouldn't be someone you trust as much as your sworn shields. A betrayal when you're unprepared can cost you dearly. And any moment you don't have one of your sworn shields by your side could be one of those moments."

"He's telling the truth, Domeric. You need to be more cautious from now on. Please make sure Varko or Raksa are with you before engaging in any conflict. Their presence could deter many people from their plans," said Ygritte in a worried tone.

"Haaahh... Yes, you're right. I'm sorry about that. I'll be more careful about that from now on." He said.

He knew Varko and Ygritte were right. Even though, as a wizard, it wasn't easy for others to defeat him, it was always wise to be cautious. After all, he only had one life.

Varko seemed satisfied with his answer and didn't pursue the matter further.

They travelled for two more hours before the sun began to set, and they had to set up camp for the night.
