CHAPTER 0

The First Rebel

Before humanity learned to fear the heavens…

Before angels learned betrayal…

Before the Silver City drowned in war…

There was Tvaran.

The First Angel.

The first son of Indra, The All Father.

In the beginning, the world was pure.

Oceans moved like flowing crystal beneath endless skies. Forests stretched across the earth untouched by greed. Mountains stood like sleeping gods beneath the clouds. Above it all floated the Silver City — heaven itself — where angels watched over creation in silence.

And then humanity was born.

Fragile creatures of flesh.

Beautiful.

Cruel.

Endlessly hungry.

At first, the angels admired them. Humans possessed something even divine beings lacked — freedom. They laughed, fought, dreamed, and loved with terrifying intensity.

But freedom became corruption.

Kingdoms rose through bloodshed. Rivers blackened with ash. Forests vanished beneath fire and iron. Humanity consumed the world faster than creation could heal.

And among all angels…

Only one dared to question it.

Tvaran.

The First Angel watched humanity for centuries.

He watched children starve while kings worshipped gold.

He watched wars fought in the name of gods who never answered.

He watched mankind poison the very world gifted to them by creation.

And eventually…

The Angel of Justice reached a conclusion even heaven feared.

Humanity had to perish.

"You call this mercy?"

Tvaran's voice thundered through the Silver City.

Below the heavens, the mortal world burned beneath war, greed, and endless hunger.

Yet the gods remained silent.

The angels remained blind.

"I watched them poison rivers created by your hands. I watched them turn forests into graves. I watched them murder each other beneath the sky you gifted them."

His silver wings unfolded behind him like a storm.

"And still… you forgive them."

Silence consumed heaven.

No angel dared to move.

Upon the divine throne sat Indra, The All Father, his expression unreadable.

Tvaran's eyes burned with divine fury.

"You call humanity 'your children' while they devour creation itself."

He raised his blade toward the world below.

"If justice exists…"

"…then justice must be absolute."

Amrita lowered her gaze in sorrow.

Yashveer silently tightened his fists.

Even Veer, the calmest among angels, could not look at him.

"I was created to protect this world."

For the first time, pain entered Tvaran's voice.

"And I will protect it…"

"…even from humanity."

The Silver City trembled.

Divine energy burst across heaven like thunder. The skies darkened. Towers cracked. Clouds swirled around the heavenly gates.

Then Tvaran looked directly at Indra.

"For the first time, Father…"

"I refuse your command."

Silence.

Heavy.

Endless.

Then the First Angel turned his back on heaven.

And the First Rebellion began.

Angels slaughtered angels.

The skies burned silver for nine days and nine nights.

Entire heavenly districts collapsed into the mortal world like falling stars. Divine blood rained across kingdoms. Humanity looked toward the heavens and witnessed gods bleeding for the very first time.

By the end of the war…

The Silver City stood victorious.

But heaven was no longer pure.

And neither was Indra.

Tvaran vanished into darkness.

Yet his final words remained carved into the memory of every angel alive.

"Justice without action is hypocrisy."

From that day onward, the First Angel became legend.

The Fallen One.

The Rebel With a Cause.

But the gods learned something terrifying from the rebellion.

A rebel cannot be defeated by power alone.

Only another rebel can stop one.

And so…

After the war…

After betrayal poisoned heaven…

After silence consumed the throne of God…

Indra created another angel.

Not with love.

Not with hope.

But with suffering.

An angel destined to hate heaven itself.

A weapon disguised as a broken child.

A rebel without a cause.

DIVYATI.
