-->Figuring out

Ba-dump!

Pant!

Heavy pants blew over the vapours coming out of the warm broth as Scyures's world changed to original.

He could feel the warm broth in his mouth as everyone was lauhing and enjoying the food.

"...." The look over his face deprived of joy gleeing perplexed sorrow and disgust. His eyes darted towards the ones sitting by his sides to express the agony, in response all eyes locked onto his face.

"Is something wrong?" Klynt felt the uneasiness of Scyures and asked as Grandpa put down his pipe and took some water in his mouth before spitting it in a cup as he put it down near his chair and took a sip from the soup bowl.

"Is this more spicy or salty for you?" The mother asked sincerely in little pain, little concern.

"No...heh!" Scyures put his hand behind his head and laughed it off, the most textbook way to dodge questions.

"I actually was going to ask for salt. Sorry to bother."

I don't know, I just couldn't say it.

I shouldn't that is what my feelings tell me in the instance.

Scyures reached out for the salt container which klynt pushed near him as...

Ba-dump!

Pitch-black void conquered his vision as Scyures felt drained and blind. He panted violently before his vision restored and he saw..

"H...huh?"

In front of him was the door with a Libra-sign engraved on it.

Was all of it a dream? I haven't moved an inch from my place. He walked towards the door and stood there before knocking.

Or was that a future vision? In usual games it's like a loop setting unless I get past the level. Is this some kind of trial? It must be.

Scyures knocked on the door, thrice.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Similar sound of steps came making him feel dèja vu as door firmly opened. A familiar head with sense of unfamiliarity in the eyes peeked out of the it.

Same face, same features, same atmosphere and same vibes.

"How can I help you?"

Just the words seems a bit off. This time with confidence Scyures spoke.

"I'm lost." I should follow the same way as before, just a category I need to fill in that I couldn't think of back then or I'm just overthinking, it was just a vivid dream.

Scyures wasn't paying attention as the lady with baby fat on her cheeks approved him to enter after asking from her grandfather.

He walked in scratching the back of his head.

Ba-dump!

The vision changed, everyone there, four people on dining table and one beside him were just standing skeleton.

Ba-dump!

Everything returned to normal. Same furniture, same pegasus table-cloth, same Grandpa with luxurious outfit and a smoking pipe.

"Why so nervous? You can relax lad!" Again! Same meaning different words.

"Y‐yes." Scyures followed the simple procedure and sat on the table as introductions started. He looked around for clues, generally in these types of setting there are either some key objects or rules written somewhere secretly.

In the sink, the windows, the flower or on the table.

"Hey!" Scyures jolted awake and stood up as Grandpa called him out, it was his turn to introduce himself.

"Ah‐yes. I'm Scyures, from Tsaresford kingdom. I'm a lost traveler." He had already thought up what to say.

"Tsaresford? Never heard of it aha ha ha!" Grandpa blew the smoke and started laughing lightly.

"You must be from far away." The mother commented

Ba-dump!

The world tainted with grey illusiories and darkness appeared before his eyes again, the slithering started.

The tentalces were slowly reaching his face and slowly inside his mouth.

Ba-dump!

Baah! Ahh! Haak‐ahh! Scyures puked there as he was again standing in front of the door.

I..looped again?

Scyures turned back as he decided to leave this place, wind brushed past his ear as he took his first step.

But.

There's no but. He overrode his thoughts.

But...what will happen to them, Lair or Laer whatever family. What will happen to them? They will be trapped here forever? If I don't proceed with this, they will become something they might never accept to.

Scyures slapped his face as he looked at his hand, he clenched it and looked back walking towards the door.

Ah! I slapped too hard.

As he walked near the door he saw something...under the Libra sign were barely visible letters that made some sense to him.

These must be the rules to clear this one, I overlooked it two times..No three, no only two.

'The spell of Libra, maintain balance and become worthy of the star.

The essence of this trial is. In chaos there is peace and in peace there is chaos.'

As he read it many thought came to his mind. Yin-yang? Balance...hmm.

Chaos and peace. Ch..? Got it! He slammed his fist in his palm as he understood the assignment.

I think the two states in this house represents chaos and peace. When I'm in chaos mode I have to be calm and when everything is normal and peaceful I have to be chaotic or like dramatic.

This would sincerely compliment and fulfill the conditions.

With his determination he knocked on the door with brute force of an average human.

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.

He heard noise of quick steps coming closer to the door as he prepared himself.

The door smoothly opened.
