Two more days.
Two more days until I am back home in my bed, in my room. I ache all over; my body doesn't feel like mine.
I never thought that I would get this tired. And it's not the physical kind that you sleep and wake up feeling rested, no.
This kind is weary, deep in your bones. I feel drained. Emotionally, physically, and even in my soul. My eyes open, puffy, and my face feels swollen, a normal occurrence these days.
The hotel room is nice, they all are nice, I am tired of them. I am tired of waking up in different beds, different cities, never lingering.
But it's work.
I wonder why I never thought that even the thing you most love, you could come to resent it sometimes.
Love, hate, it's the same coin with different sides.
Andre is snoring on the next bed beside mine, fast asleep. For some reason, I couldn't sleep, no matter how my body was screaming for it.
