In the late afternoon, at the appointed hour, Idan and Arabel left the family home and soon appeared at the entrance to their two-story wooden house, where many of their acquaintances had already gathered.
"Here they come," said Esma, who was the first to notice their appearance. She was sitting on the terrace with the rest of the Valkyries.
"Sisters," — Arabel said happily, greeting all her sworn sisters.
All the Valkyries' attention was focused on her rounded belly. Those who had not seen her for a long time were amazed at how quickly events unfolded.
