-Posro, uncle, turn your volume down.- Elsie Rose said as she is holding a tablet while laying down on the couch. -Yup, wait... Where's the remote?- he keeps finding it while holding a game console. (Time around: 07:00pm)
However when he turn to look, only to see her holding it. That's when he came back from sitting lazy on the couch, as in the tv where he plays the game of tetra blocks and it's almost his best score— the tv turned off, and that made him speechless, and turns to look at the person who did it.
-What? I don't know how this works.- she pointed out, as she gave the remote to him. While Posro her uncle said his words through his actions, by being mad. As he turn on the tv again and saw that the progress wasn't saved.
The niece stares at him and sees that Posro had a side bangs that covers the other half of his face. "Is he emo? It doesn't fit him... Wait, I totally forgot! The gift!" She pouted and by that she stood up. Walking past the tv and straight to her room.
Inside was a cozy bedroom that has a nature vibes but Elsie wants to stick with unicorns, yet the majority wins. She then comes to the low cabinet with a mirror in it; that is called Bureau. While holding the tablet namely turned off. She looks down at the stuff that is put on the surface of the bureau.
(Time check: 07:21pm) -I feel sorry for him, no idea if he still remembers... But I do.- she murmured, as she picks up the object. -He really needs this eye patch.- she said, after that with the encouragement of giving him the eye patch even though she is unsure and shy. She steps outside of the room as she is holding on to the open door, as well as she is taking a peek if he is still there playing.
However Elsie then realized that, she looks like a creep. "Well, Uncle doesn't seem to see me. That hair literally covers his eye, and his other holds a passion for that game." She thought with confidence, as she walked out of the room, but uncle turn his head; indeed showed a reflex. "Huh? Why is he staring at me like that? I mean it's because he heard this door or am I this quiet and creepy?" She wondered.
It's different when her mom isn't around and she is not really close to her dad. -Elsie are you alright?- Posro asked, -Ah, yes... I-I want to give you this.- she responded, as she come towards him and stopped when she was near. Then that's when she showed her hand, seeing a blue eye patch with a style. Her uncle is surprised, and slowly takes it. He smiles as he looks at it, -Wow thank you, Elsie Rose. I think it's really nice.- he now showed an awkward smile.
-Uncle, can you do me a favor?- she asked, as uncle Posro nodded. (Time check: 07:25pm)
A minute later Elsie showed a mirror on him, as he took a look at his hair aka new hairstyle. -That's a topknot. Now it's good seeing you with that eye patch, and you look fresh in that.- Elsie said with excitement, but she is curious about what happened to Posro's other eye and it has a scar in it.
(Time check: 07:32pm) She took a deep breath and asked, -Uncle Posro, may I ask what happened to your eye on the left one?- in that he glanced at her, and said, -Okay this would be a long story short time. Here, take this.- he sighed before he gave another game console to her. Elsie then sits next to him while she puts down the tablet and holds the console. Her uncle then resumed the game, which is a racing one by using the remote. -Okay Elsie, let's race. No worries I set it up as two players, and done.- he said as the game starts, but the niece hesitates, -Uh, I don't know how this controller works.- she asked with a worry in her face.
In response Posro paused the game and began to teach her how. Afterwards he starts the game again, and inside this game there is a tendency that the car will crash that means the player loses even though they haven't reached the finished line. It happens and it makes Posro flinch, and is stunned. To see that he lost, -Uncle, I won on my first try!- she happily said, -You just got lucky.- he said. -Anyways, Elsie... What's that question you're talking about earlier?- he looks with a confused face. (Time around: 08:00pm)
-I mean, what happened to your eye?- she asked, and with an answer Posro just turned back to look at the tv. He sighed and said, -It has been hit by a weapon similar to a knife. Maybe it came from that girl assassin? It happens during our last mission.- that makes Elsie confused, so she asked, -Do you know her by any chance?- and the uncle answered, -No but she is similar... like you.- before he looks at her again.
Because of that she furrowed her brow, and looked away. -Seriously.- she said with a pout. He chuckled, and said, -Okay even though you didn't ask. Our last mission was the search of the Main World which is a myth, but believers said it was true, and since... We aren't making any money from our previous discovery— it was cut by Elsie when she said, -That's the reason why you Astronauts, tried it.- from that he was surprised and looked at her again while she was not.
(Time check: 08:13pm) -That's correct, and it took us... Ten months and as we are about to lose hope. On October 29? I looked at the clock, and it was getting late. Therefore I call it a day and I told them we need to rest.- He said, as his niece questioned, -Let me ask, what position are you in?- and from that they heard a game over from the tv. The winner again is Elsie, as her uncle couldn't believe it. -I'm the commander, by the way.- he answered, as the niece looks at him with a happy face, and said, -Lets play again, what if you win this time?-
The game starts again, with Posro still continuing his story, -I was the last one to sleep, as I check my crew mates in their rooms. Also the spaceship is parked in space and I remember the engine is turned off... Later in my sleep something unexpected happens— I was moved away from my bed!— yes finally.- he cheered as he jump out from the couch and seeing from the tv that this time Posro won. Therefore his niece said, -Congrats! Anyways, uncle. Why are you moved away from your bed?- she asked in the end.
Thus uncle look at her and decides to go back to his seat, and said, -My apologies, my niece. Okay I knew from that moment, the engine is on.- by looking at his eyes a joy turn into a serious one. However with that moment all of the sudden the power went off. (Time check: 08:44pm)

(Time check: 08:49pm) This is the time I see on the clock at my job before I leave. For my shift is done, as a hunter. My work is hunting for food and stocking it at the big cave, since this heat is causing some of the trees nor plants that have fruits to dry. However for a good cause, other plants with fruits begin to grow for example mangoes.
-Bye, have a good night! and Patricia have a good shift and be careful out there.- I said as I leave my sister there because she had a night shift as a bird who hunts at night. Really, that curse of not becoming a human again is worse.
I still know, that Diwata is to blame. I just don't know who she is, but I really need to get revenge or confront her to stop cursing us.
As I step out of the cave I transform into a cardinal, for faster transportation yet dangerous. I'm now about to take off, and I soon fly across the woods, as well as this place is called a tall forest. I noticed that the place is darker than before, as I fly through it. The lights that were hanging on the tall trees were off, and I saw the train transportation from up here also has no light and is shut down. Besides many people seem stranded there, so I was curious.
It was at the station, and I decided to fly down there to take a look. As I landed, I approached them and asked, -Hi, may tanong ako bakit brown out? (I have a question why is it brown out?)- the man turned to him with crossed arms and answered, -I don't know, basta may mga narinig ako na dahil sa hindi pagbayad ng gobernador sa kuryente. (Whatever, there I have heard that it is because of the government not paying for the electrical bills.)-
The man wears a long sleeve shirt and pants, and so do I. But we have different colors, and he looks older than me. Therefore I still don't get it, -Bakit hindi nila kayang magbayad? Kala ko may kaya sila? (Why can't they afford the bills? I thought they could?)- I asked, as he took a deep breath and said, -Are you foreign? 'di mo ba alam ang nangyayari sa bansa natin? (You don't know what's happening in our country?) bumagsak na ang ekonomiya! (The economy has collapsed!)- he seems stressed, so I keep thinking of where we get electricity from, like under what company?
-Pasenya na po, pero ano ulit tawag dun sa pinag babayaran natin ng electric bills? (I'm sorry, but what is it called again, where we used to pay electric bills?) I mean what company is it?- I asked before I shrugged. -Ampalaya company yun.- he said as he stared at me, but I never saw the company in this country, which leaves me clueless.
-Yung Ampalaya company ba taga dito ba to? (Does the Ampalaya company belong here?)- I asked, and this might be a QnA but at least we get information. -Hindi, taga Sitaw na country sila. (No, they are from the Sitaw country.) It's obvious, based on the name.- he responded.
From that I begin to worry and I know we must end this matter. -Bossing may idea ako. (Boss, I have an idea.)- I said.

During their shift they talked.

Her dad is there anyways— it was cut when Patricia raises her voice *Chrip?! *More rapping chrip Translate to --> -Haven't you still know?! Mariz, he's gone! This planet is a curse to see him alive!- she cannot control her emotions that why her friend Mariz tries to calm her down, but also got confused of what she said, that's why she asked *Chrip? *Chrip Translate to --> -Huh? But Patricia, I saw him earlier... Don't say.- a horror in that cardinals face because of realization. (Time around: 09:00pm)
The reason why in Patricia's face proves the point, and she said, *Chirp *Chrip *more chriping Translate to --> -You know it's a curse to see them. Like they can't let you recover, and when you remember the bad thing to them they still haunt you. I want my brother to feel peace and rest. As they reach the station where next to it is a big tree with a treehouse, so Mariz said, *Chrip! *Chriping? Translate to --> -Look, Patricia! Is that your house?- as only respond she gets is when her friend flies over there, so she follows her.
Patricia then land on the mail box, while her friend transform into a human, and walks to the door to knock. As she begins to do it, the door is suddenly pushed and made her surprised that it is open. However before going in, she turn around and nodded, as a sign of going together. Patricia the cardinal then fly towards her and lands on her friend's shoulder.
The door creaks open, the more she pushes. Viewing the inside of the house is dark and seems no one's at home. Mariz goes inside and closed the door. The only light is the sunlight coming through the window, and suddenly they heard a voice that they don't know where it's coming from.
Patricia recognised it and began to worried, *Chriping Translate to --> -I swear this is cursed! It feels like it's not my brother that's showing up anymore.- and her friend replied, -Don't you worry sis. Don't worry too much, you might not last long. I know creatures can't disguises itself.-
-Im sure they don't mimic voices.- she added, as the cardinal slowly calms down. Mariz steps on the kitchen and leans on the counter but when the bird fly and lands on the counter to walk around, only to see the other side is a person lying down with a bottle next to it. Patricia got scared and calls her friend by chriping and flapping her wings.
Thankfully Mariz notices and walk to the other side and she got surprised too, -Wait he seems... No he is drunk! I can smell it from here, but— the alcohol spilled that's why.- she said. Therefore she gets closer to take the bottle, and after she did. She reads that it was wine, as she heard her friend chriping Translate to --> -Probably the reason why the table ain't tidy, and that's my brother.- Mariz then understand. However she begins to think about Elsie, -Patricia, your niece might be drunk too?- as the cardinal flies to the door and lands on the door knob; that is a room next to the kitchen. Because of that the friend walk towards it and the bird fly again and lands onto Mariz's shoulder.
She holds the door knob and it was locked, so her friend chriped, Translate to --> -This is Elsie's room, why is it locked? Oh no, Mariz we should check every room to make sure!- the bird panicked, as Mariz hurry to search each room; it was open but nobody's inside. Until she reach the bathroom, and holds to rotate the door knob. It was confusing that it was locked? Suddenly they heard the toilet flushed, someone is there. -Hey! Who are you?- Mariz yelled, as she kept knocking. No answers.
She stopped doing it after she noticed that the door knob clicks, so she stepped back. It opens revealing the guy that they are searching for. The cardinal take action by chriping and flapping its wings aggressively, in response the guy with silver hair top knot is fixing his jacket, and looked confused. -えっと,あなたは誰ですか?(Um who are you?)- he shrugged, without knowing that Mariz is speechless. The friend also looks at her and chrips with anger, Translate to --> -What?! Mariz! Put yourself together! He's a ghost!- and the man replied, -Why is the bird angry this early? Oh, can you please calm your pet down?- he begged in annoyance.
-Y-yes, I c-can.- she stuttered, as she grab the bird off her shoulders and hold it with care, as she said, -Psst, hey calm down. Please I'll handle this.- as the bird looks up at her and chriped while flapping its wings, *Chriping *Chrip! *Chriping?! Translate to --> -Shut it, Mariz! Stop being delusional, and put yourself together! You haven't asked where Elsie is?!- Patricia couldn't believe it.
That's the reason why her friend realized why they are here in the first place, and said, -Sir, have you seen Elsie?- so he step outside of the bathroom and closed the door behind, and said, -Maybe she's in her room. Oh, hi Philip's sister! I didn't notice you were here.- that leaves the ladies confused, -But haven't you noticed? Sir?- Mariz asked, as in response he yawns, -I just woke up, you know half awake.- he said before leaving them.
-Philip wake up, your sister is here.- he said, as he is trying to wake him up. Meanwhile the cardinal is chriping again; in fact foreigners don't understand them. *Chrip *Chrip *Chriping Translate to --> -Mariz, we really need to see the news. Let's go to the living room and after that we need Elsie too.-
They went there, passing those dudes. The cardinal turn on the tv in the remote by using its beak. Patricia keeps changing the channel looking for the news, while her friend is next to her sitting on the couch. But seems like her thoughts are on another.

She notices one paper on the ground that seems familiar, but it is covered in other papers, so she decided to pick it up. She was not surprised but tired of seeing the face of her missing daughter who ran away. -My daughter... Susan, I hope you know how much I love you. Sorry mama's busy working hard for you to possibly reach the career I plan, just for you.- She muttered, and flinch when she heard a knock. Coming from the door, and she immediately knew who it was as usual, -Mang D. Come in.- she said, as the door clicks and creaks open. Showing a young dwarf, step in the room and closed the door behind. It was wearing glasses, and a short creature. With white short hair and wearing formal attire. It was an kid dwende, with eyes colored like chocolate.
-Pres. Sam, I'd like to tell you— ? Why is the papers on the ground po?- it asked, as Sam realize her mistake and said, -Oh sorry, but anyways Mang D. Indigo what do you like to tell? Don't tell me those about me right?- when she looks messy while holding the papers, Indigo said, -Nope, one of the staff calls for a meeting. I'd like to inform you po that they invite you.- yet he worries that in a minute then president should be there, so he uses his wind power as well as controlling it to create a pile of papers. In time it did, leaving with no surprise in Pres. Sam. (Time check: 04:18 pm)

She turn around to where her desk is located, and carefully put down the pile of papers together with the fire.
It was the first show off she did, and she turn back only to see Indigo scared. Making her confused, so she asked why. -I-its new to me... It's scary po, also Diwata's don't do that like they don't have fire control. Never.- Indigo said, while trembling and the middle aged Diwata whose hair is wavy black and looking at him with those lavender Bambi eyes. Indigo agreed, as she sits down to talk to him. -What is it, Pres. Sam?- he asked, -I actually control one of the Astronauts squad. Ever since one of them is greedy and going for solo.
