A few seconds later, they started charging at him with their full number, not caring if Gorthok was alone or not. In fact, they never cared in the first place. And with multiple swings of their swords rushing him, Gorthok stood unfazed.
The second the swords were about to land on him, he started dogging them while at the same time parrying some using his bare hands.
The scene became ugly in a few seconds. And with the shadows' numbers, Gorthok felt overwhelmed, because this was an unfair fight. I mean, it was a single person against thousands of shadows.
Even so, he didn't let the fact that he was overwhelmed get to his head, so he continued parrying their attacks while in the process landing his own.
'I'm getting nowhere like this.'
He wondered, noticing his effort was doing nothing against the thousand shadows. Because no matter where he hit them, it seemed pointless, cause the shadows kept on coming without giving him a chance to think or strategies his next move.
