Ma Qianxiu examined the map carefully.
His expression was unusually serious. Not long afterward, Zhongli Cang also approached.
"Brother Ma, did you find something?"
Ma Qianxiu nodded slightly.
"I have an idea."
His words immediately attracted Captain Gu's attention.
"Oh? What did you discover?"
It wasn't that Captain Gu particularly believed Ma Qianxiu. He had simply run out of ideas and was willing to listen to any suggestion.
Ma Qianxiu raised his hand and pointed toward several enormous residences in the distance.
"Look at those houses."
Captain Gu followed his gaze.
Ma Qianxiu continued.
"Only wealthy people could afford residences with such enormous courtyards. Don't you think so?"
Captain Gu nodded.
"That's true. Those residences should have belonged to influential families."
However, he soon shook his head.
"But we've already searched those places. We didn't find anything."
Ma Qianxiu nodded.
He looked toward the ruined city.
