"Evelyn?" Rael called out, slowly approaching her.
His body felt slightly wonky, and he was sure he wasn't exactly all there at the moment.
But even so, that didn't stop him from approaching Evelyn. She simply stared back at him, and after a few short moments, she let out a sigh.
"What did you hope to accomplish by provoking Minos?" she asked, resting her head against the bark. "Was it arrogance or greed?"
"Neither. I didn't even say anything to him. I only thought about it," Rael said plainly and sat down beside her.
Evelyn nodded. "Right, and the first mistake was thinking you could freely think in our presence. Wait for now. We're reconstructing your body."
"Did he actually kill me...?" Rael asked, shocked.
"He ejected your soul and then de-atomized your body. Vatyra and Kareth are working on bringing you back. Chronos... he tried to turn back time, but it seemed like Minos managed to separate your body from time before killing you."
