Still a little drunk and unsteady, Luis grew reckless. He smashed the beer bottle on the ground and pulled out his gun, pointing it at Jeff.
"Haha, look at this kid acting all tough just because he trained to be a warrior. Even if your training started in your mother's womb, it's still hopeless for you!" he shouted, his words slurred with arrogance.
While still pointing the gun at him, Luis kept his distance. Even under the influence of alcohol, his experience told him not to get too close.
He knew that if he entered the kid's range, he could be taken down in an instant, so he maintained a safe gap between them.
"But something's not right," Luis muttered, his expression turning uncertain.
"How did you get here so fast? I clearly watched my surroundings, and I didn't see any vehicles following me at all."
Jeff simply smirked and replied, "Well, that's for you to guess."
Luis felt his blood boil at the boy's arrogance and the slight curve of his lips.
