The sword left its scabbard with a clean metallic cry, as Veyr pointed it toward Yu Kiro with mischief gleaming in his eyes, almost as though the overwhelming pressure before him was nothing more than an entertaining challenge.
"Sure, you can teach me a lesson," Veyr said, his lips curling into a grin as his aura tightened around his body. "But you'll have to catch me first."
The moment those words left his mouth, Veyr blurred into a streak of speed and shot away from Planet Satoru, deliberately pulling the battle deeper into space before Yu Kiro could unleash anything that would devastate the world below.
Yu Kiro's eyes narrowed slightly, as for a brief moment, the sheer audacity of that retreat made his expression twist into amused disdain.
