(The Fourth Dimension)
For a moment after chopping off Yu Kiro's head, Leo remained where he stood, drawing slow, controlled breaths as he watched the decapitated head drift through the void, its eyes closing at last as the final traces of the Great Gods will faded into nothingness.
Even then, his anger had not fully settled, as it lingered beneath the surface while his senses stayed sharp and alert, because although the battle had ended, the surge of adrenaline still held his body in a state between combat and calm.
However, that tension began to loosen the moment his gaze shifted, as when he looked toward Veyr, the sight before him broke through the lingering edge of battle and pulled him back into the present.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
Veyr laughed wildly in the distance, doubling over himself as he pointed first at Yu Kiro's lifeless body and then toward Leo, his reaction raw, unfiltered, and completely unable to contain what they had just accomplished.
