Back in the mansion, in a girlish and rather impressively beautiful large bedroom, Stacy, Tracy and Treasure sat on a king sized bed, each holding an ice cream tin.
STACY: ( Turning her face as though what she was eating was bitter) What flavour is this?
TRACY: I think it's vanilla. I forgot you don't like that. ( Turns to Treasure, who is lost in thoughts) Your ice cream must be liguid now huh?
TREASURE: ( Snapped out of her thoughts) Huh?( Stacy, curiosly looking at her)
STACY: ( Crowling to her side and holding her arms) You've been quiet Sis. Is anything on your mind?( Treasure looks at her, then to the ice cream tin) Is it Ivan?
TREASURE: ( Softly) Yeah. I invited him over for my party. But am not sure if he will show up.
STACY: Do you want him to come?
TREASURE: ( Hesitates, then speaks) Yes!
STACY: So, did you invite him yourself or....
TREASURE: No .....we actually met at the party yesterday, but we didn't talk. So I told Romeo about it and also gave him my bracelet to take it to him as invitation.
STACY: (frowns) Romeo was there too?
TREASURE: Yeah. He sent greetings.
TRACY: ( Jeers....then speaks) These guys have to get serious. I just don't know how I should treat any of them!( there's a weird silence in the room)
STACY: (Looks at Treasure) And Roy?
TREASURE: (Sighs) He's been invited too.
STACY: (in a serious tone) Do you want him there?
TREASURE: ( in frustration, but answers softly) I don't know!
STACY: (calmly) Okay. ( Releases her and gets off the bed). I'll speak to the guards, just to inform and clarify things. (To Tracy) Please, help me call Collin.
TRACY: Collin?!
STACY: ( Calmly) Don't worry, tell him am in need of him.
TRACY: Why don't I just toss his number so you do it yourself?
STACY: Ah hahaha. C'mon, I have a reason for making you do that. It's nothing stupid don't worry.
TRACY: Okay fine. But immediately he picks up, you hold the phone! ( She picks her phone, makes a few scrolls and taps and finally calls) Hello....yeah it's Tracy. Who else could it be....no I didn't I.....I only called coz Stacy needed to talk to you... yeah....here she is.( Hands Stacy the phone)
STACY: ( Calmly) Hey Collin....yeah, longtime it is. Am good and you?..... that's great. I actually called to ask you for a favour....could we please meet up?.....no, come with Ivan.....yeah just the three of us....ah I think we should meet at the Silver Springs or Speke....okay it's Speke then.....in 40...okay.....see you then. ( Looks at Treasure who looks busy on her phone, then to Tracy) You guys have some fun meanwhile. I'll be back in a few okay?
TRACY: ( softly) Can I ask a question if you don't mind?
STACY: ( Calmly) Go on
TRACY: Okay. I know Ivan is a good guy, at least he was, maybe. But he isn't that perfect. He isn't that good now. Why does Treasure long so much for him? Why does she hold him so precious? Doesn't she realise he no longer cares?
STACY: I guess you think that way because we have been away for so long.
TRACY: Away my foot. If he cared even just a little, he could have contacted us. But did he? What hurt me even more was when he rejected Auntie's offer to visit us in Canada while she was sick. You saw the condition Treasure was in....and all she wanted was to see him. Tell me what's worse than being ignored by the person you love.
STACY: ( Softly) Losing him. All she's scared of is losing him.. She can't afford it. For over eight years now, he has been a part of her life. Their family backgrounds were far different in status but he didn't mind. While he was with her, he always took care of her as though she was family to him and never asked anything in return. That attachment soon became a romantic bond until now.
TRACY: ( Sadly) Ohh....but his attitude now....it's so unfair! She needs a lot more.
STACY: I feel the same way too. But to her, that's manageable. As long as she knows he's there, she has less worries. This situation will hurt her a lot but she can bare with it .
TRACY: How do you know? I mean...she has been so confidential about that topic.
STACY: That's because she's not comfortable with talking about it with other people. She would rather keep the pain to herself that spit it out. That guy was supposed to be the one she tells all that stuff but boom... he's not here. She always told him everything that happened to her and somehow..she always felt better afterwards.
TRACY: So how did you get to know that?
STACY: Because am her sister Tracy... obviously I had to know.( Checks her phone) Anyway, you guys have fun. I'll be back shortly. I think I'll call when am there. ( Gives the phone back to Tracy)
TRACY: Okay then... take care. ( Stacy looks at Treasure again and turns to leave).
TREASURE: ( Placing down her phone and looking at Tracy) Is everything okay with you guys?
TRACY: ( Walking over to her) Yeah... everything is okay don't worry.
TREASURE: Where has she gone to?
TRACY: She didn't say...but she'll back in a few.
TREASURE: ( Softly with a sigh) Okay. ( Treasure goes back to what she was doing as Tracy sits on the bed again, picking up her ice cream).
