I drew a long breath and turned my attention toward the damaged Divine Core.
There was no point hesitating any longer.
I began releasing the restraints I had placed around the two runes, allowing their opposing energies to expand within the unstable space. The moment the first barrier disappeared, the surrounding Divine Core trembled, and several existing cracks spread farther across its surface. I continued regardless, removing one restriction after another until nothing remained between the two runes except the final distance separating them.
The Black Island trembled, and the surrounding Soul Sea surged violently as though an enormous disturbance had entered its depths. The Star of Origin flickered, while the forty-nine Origins within my Divine Core began responding to the approaching collision.
I could feel the danger growing with every passing instant.
Still, I continued.
