Theras slowly raised his hands before him, turning them over as though examining them for the first time. His fingers moved gently, and a faint golden glow passed beneath his skin. He flexed them once, then looked down at his body, taking in the smooth, pale surface of his skin and the long white hair flowing over his shoulders. The wounds left by my strange flames had vanished completely, leaving no trace of the battle that had nearly interrupted his ascension.
A soft laugh escaped his lips.
"So this is what it feels like..."
His voice carried a strange resonance, as though the very space around him responded to every word. He lifted his gaze toward Amun, whose body was still struggling against the pressure.
For a moment, Theras simply looked at his brother before a smile spread across his face.
