In the afternoon, Mia Foster received a call from Felix Shaw, thinking he missed her again, as it was a daily routine for him to find excuses to call her several times. Looking at the affectionate name on the phone, Mia smiled as she answered.
Just as she called him "husband," a mocking voice from Elizabeth White came through, "Ms. Foster, your husband is lying in my bed right now."
"Who are you?" Mia's smile disappeared instantly, and she asked cautiously. In the hotel room, Elizabeth looked back at the woman sleeping soundly on the bed, the curve of her lips growing wider.
"Ms. Foster, you sure have a selective memory. Back then, your identity as a black fan caused me to be hospitalized. Have you forgotten?"
"Elizabeth White!" Mia spat out the name through gritted teeth. Although she wasn't sure how Felix got involved with her again, she was certain Felix must have met Elizabeth; otherwise, how else would she have gotten hold of his phone?
