Sophia had just said a single word when her lips were sealed. Evander crushed her into the sofa, one big hand unapologetically slipping along her placket and sliding inside, rubbing back and forth over her lower belly.
As his thin lips shifted, a murmur spilled out. "Does it hurt here?"
Sophia hummed. It didn't hurt; he was just too heavy, and she was afraid he'd press down on their baby.
"You're so heavy."
"Let's change places."
Evander braced one hand on the sofa and lifted himself up, pecked her lips again, then stood and scooped her up to carry her into the bedroom.
After putting Sophia on the bed, he lay down as well, hooked his hands under her armpits and used a bit of strength. "You be on top."
