Nicholas Croft didn't look up, he lowered his eyes and took a sip of coffee, a casual action, but Harry Zachary standing next to him was already sweating in his palms.
Instinctively, he glanced at the stack of photos on the coffee table. Though they were placed face down, he more or less knew what they were.
Nicholas Croft put the coffee cup down, still moving leisurely, causing Harry Zachary to instinctively raise his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead, smiled and said, "Director Croft, you called for me..."
With a "smack," Nicholas Croft threw the stack of photos onto the coffee table, a man and woman's faces entered Harry Zachary's view.
It was pictures of him and Hannah Hargrave, entering a building unit one after another, sitting together in a car. Although there weren't any overly intimate photos, Harry Zachary knew Nicholas Croft had discovered his affair with Hannah Hargrave.
