"But Uncle, I now..."
"Alright then, it's settled!" Edward Quinn said firmly, not allowing any objections.
Mabel Quinn stared blankly at her phone, momentarily lost and unable to react.
"What's wrong? Was that your uncle on the phone just now?" Alice Conley leaned in and asked.
"Yeah, my uncle wants me to move to a different place," Mabel said. "He said there was a break-in at my place last night, and it's not safe. He'll pick me up after work today, and then I'll pack my things to move."
Alice was startled by what she heard, "What, there was a break-in at your place? Are you alright, did anything get stolen?"
"I'm fine, nothing was stolen. But Daniel Harris got injured on the arm while helping me retrieve the longevity lock, lost quite a bit of blood," Mabel replied.
Alice suddenly remembered something, "Oh, my parents said you and a guy took me home yesterday. Was that guy Daniel Harris?"
