Seeing the horse about to collide with her, the hand originally grasping her wrist suddenly loosened, and the next moment, her shoulder was embraced by an arm. Yet, an impact force still transmitted to her body, making her feel as though she was about to be knocked flying. At her ear, she heard a muffled groan.
Mabel Quinn suddenly reacted, turning to look at Kyle Kinston who had just protected her. She was sheltered by him and had already felt such an impact; not to mention, he was hit directly by the horse.
"Are you... are you alright?" Mabel asked.
"I'm fine," he replied, but his face was somewhat pale, and sweat the size of beans oozed from his forehead. Clearly, that collision was not light for him.
"Sorry, my foot... just didn't listen earlier." She said, suddenly the crowd screamed again, but this time another horse had thrown the trainer controlling it to the ground and charged over.
What to do? Now... what should be done? Her feet simply couldn't retreat quickly.
