Busy?
High-society ladies can run off to Paris for a custom dress, and now it's just a matter of changing shops. Yet Chu Xiran can actually use the word "busy."
Gu Tong turned around, a mischievous thought rising. She touched a bright red evening gown, nodded approvingly, and said, "This one is not bad."
"Yes, this one is really exquisite..." Chu Xiran was rarely so happy to see Gu Tong take a liking to a dress, practically jumping at the chance, enthusiastically praising, "Sister-in-law, you should try it on..."
Having said that, she looked as if she couldn't wait to push her into the fitting room immediately.
"It looks okay, but who knows how it will actually look when worn."
Seeing Chu Xiran's urgency, Gu Tong already had an idea.
However, to be sure, she probed a bit further.
"You can only tell if a dress is good or bad once you put it on. If you don't try it on, sister-in-law, how can you know if it's suitable?"
