Tian Sangsang has the habit of taking afternoon naps. She naps for an hour every day; otherwise, she feels lethargic in the afternoon.
After getting pregnant, she often lingers in bed, unwilling to get up. Her nap time has doubled to two hours.
Meng Shuyan, however, is like a child—spirited and energetic, constantly moving, with no sense of the need for naps. Naps are optional for him. Usually, he engrosses himself in playing with Rubik's cubes, Sudoku puzzles, feeding the chickens and ducks, thoroughly enjoying himself.
This made Tian Sangsang quite envious.
She recalled that before the age of sixteen, she hardly ever took naps. After sixteen, her body couldn't handle it anymore. If she didn't nap, it felt as though there was a thin veil of mist before her eyes. That mist didn't only obstruct her vision but also blocked her thoughts, leaving her dazed and incapable of accomplishing anything.
She lacked energy during school hours.
