Madam Wen sat on the Arhat bed placed by the window, her face ashen, lips pressed into a straight line, chest heaving up and down, and everyone around knew she was extremely angry.
"Madam, when you speak later, try not to be too harsh to avoid hurting the harmony with the young lady," Nanny Wang gently advised.
Madam Wen sneered, "My past teachings to her were all in vain, and now I have to yield to her? If she did something wrong, I still have to coax her?"
Nanny Wang opened her mouth, glancing at the swaying curtain out of the corner of her eye, where a maid lifted the curtain, and Miss Wen walked in.
Madam Wen glanced over, and once the curtain fell, she slapped the table: "Kneel down."
Wen Zishan was taken aback but obediently knelt down, bowing her head slightly.
Seeing this, Madam Wen snorted, "It seems you know where you went wrong; otherwise, you wouldn't have knelt so readily."
