Li Guirong was confused, but seeing Yu Dou's confidence, she agreed.
She had previously overheard from her mother that Yu Dou got into a prestigious university, achieving success, which she found hard to believe.
She went to have someone investigate, and after checking, was quite surprised to find out Yu Dou was indeed studying financial management at a nationally renowned school.
Moreover, his academic performance was outstanding. Still only a junior, he was already partnering with others in investments and had made quite a lot of money.
In the past two years, he bought back the land his grandmother once sold, for several times its original price.
He also had his grandmother's grave refurbished, invited a high monk to perform rituals, seeking peace for his grandmother.
If not for the big commotion, Li Guirong wouldn't have thought of finding Yu Dou.
