"In the name of mercy, I give you a chance to lay down your weapons and surrender!" The knight raised the flag, standing on higher ground, and shouted down to the people below.
"Go back, and give my regards to your lord." Hank drew his longsword and shouted up in response.
The knight shook his head, as if he had expected this, and turned his horse, disappearing from the high ground. "Why not surrender?" Hardesh couldn't help but ask.
"Did you only learn to surrender under Gruding?" The older scout turned his head, his gray-brown eyes glanced at him.
