Chloe Grant pursed her lips and fastened the seatbelt she'd forgotten.
Matthew Morgan used to always fasten it for her.
The car hit the road, and neither of them spoke. Chloe Grant felt the atmosphere was extremely awkward.
She took the initiative to speak, "Mr. Lee, I'm really sorry for making you wait so long."
"No, I just arrived," the other party responded, his gaze always fixed ahead.
Chloe assumed he was just being polite.
After that, there was a long silence between the two again.
Chloe glanced out of the window, not knowing where Mr. Lee intended to take her.
She didn't ask either.
"On a blind date... usually we have a meal together, right?" he suddenly said.
Chloe immediately perked up and responded, "Oh, sure."
He turned and parked the car directly in a spot nearby.
After the car came to a stop, Mr. Lee exited, circled around to Chloe Grant's side, and opened the door for her.
