Isabella Gray intentionally left two seats beside her for Chloe Grant and Jacob Lee.
"Come on, over here." Isabella waved at them.
Chloe Grant settled Jodie Cooper and Benjamin Grant into their seats before taking Jacob Lee's arm and heading towards Isabella.
She sat down next to Jacob, and on Jacob's other side was Matthew Morgan.
As Jacob took his seat, his gaze met Matthew Morgan's, and he quickly looked away, his hand trembling slightly.
However, none of the others present noticed these small details.
Isabella held Chloe's hand, feeling a thousand emotions but unsure what to say.
Chloe squeezed Isabella's hand in return, smiling at her, with an unspoken understanding that words weren't necessary.
"Alright, don't just sit there, pick up your chopsticks and eat."
As the elder, Mr. Morgan took the lead, and the others at the table naturally followed, beginning the meal.
Isabella offered Chloe some food, "Have you finalized your plans to move to A City?"
