"Alright, alright, I really won't laugh anymore." Chloe Grant did her best to restrain herself and waved her hand.
It had been too long since she laughed like this, so she couldn't stop herself for a moment.
Chloe adjusted her posture and looked seriously at Michael Taylor to show that she had calmed down.
Michael sighed, "So tell me, what should I do now? Really duel with her? Wouldn't that be... asking for death?"
"It's definitely asking for death!" Chloe said affirmatively. "Gale Koch is Loren's bodyguard. Considering how anxious Matthew Morgan and Thea Yates get, if Gale didn't have exceptional skills, they wouldn't have hired him as the bodyguard."
Michael sighed again.
"I've thought it over, and I think when the time comes, I'll just go abroad. If I can avoid it once, I'll avoid it once, buy some time. When my boyfriend and I can officially be together, he probably won't want to do anything to me."
The more Michael thought about it, the more he felt this plan could work.
