Old Madam Yu's funeral was held with great solemnity.
The Yu family set up the Four Seasons Manor lounge, which Old Madam Yu loved during her lifetime, as the memorial hall and spent a fortune to buy the Crystal Coffin for Old Madam Yu's body.
After announcing the death immediately, relatives and friends arrived at the Four Seasons Manor to pay respects within three days; the eldest grandson, Yu Fusheng, his wife, Wei Zhuhua, and great-granddaughter, Yu Ruohuan, as direct relatives, wore mourning clothes to keep vigil and received condolences.
Confucius once said: In life, serve with courtesy; in death, bury with courtesy, and honor with courtesy.
Traditional funerals, inherited over thousands of years, are solemn ceremonies to be treated with reverence.
