Theodore Holmes was not wearing the loungewear he had on while chatting in the living room earlier; instead, he was dressed in casual attire. Amelia Linton, with her sharp eyes, noticed he held car keys in his hand, looking like he was about to go out.
"I can't sleep, going out for a drive."
After saying this, he headed downstairs. After taking two steps down, he suddenly stopped, turned his head, and looked at her. "Mom! You look like you can't sleep either. Why don't you come for a drive with me?"
He stood there waiting for her answer. Standing backlit, the emotions in his eyes were hidden in the darkness.
Amelia Linton was feeling irritated and annoyed, troubled about how to vent. Theodore Holmes' suggestion was exactly what she had in mind, so without even thinking, she immediately nodded and agreed, "Okay."
She agreed while walking down towards him.
"Let's go!"
